February 2024

Friday, February 2, 2024

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith announced that the province will place a kibosh or a moratorium on all further gender reassignment surgeries and puberty blockers to those under 18 years old. Along with other peripheral changes such as no pronoun changes and all SOGI classes must have prior parental notification.
The Prime Minister being a Defender of the People that he is, is furious about this and plans to have a sit down with the Premier of Alberta.
A person needs to be over 18 to access porn and even to access nicotine vape shop and cannabis shop websites but getting access to sexual reassignment surgery and puberty blockers is otherwise all right for people under 18. I think that a person has to be over 18 even to get a large tattoo.
There is of course the medically delicate issue of if a person is 18, wouldn't they be too old for puberty blockers as the point of that is to take them while during actual puberty? One hand washes the other.
Even if puberty blockers aren't permitted to those 15 and under, at 15, puberty's already half over. As the name implies, isn't the point to use them before puberty starts, like at age 12? Is 12 old enough to have informed consent? Is 12 the age of reason?
At 15, I thought Rambo First Blood part 2 was the best movie ever made and ever could be made. That's an example of the mentality that a 15 year old is working with let alone age 12. When I was 12 I thought that Empire Strikes Back was the best movie.

The Police still have not re-visited me. I am curious as to what it might be about. There is a 1% chance that the landlord just made up the story for whatever capricious reason but I don't think so. He seemed sincere.
The Police are welcome to visit me at any time for any reason. What am I going to do. Try to escape? I doubt it.
Baffling. Because:
1. The Police haven't returned. If it was any kind of priority especially a high priority, they would have definitely returned.
2. My next door neighbours haven't heard anything that morning. No squelch of a walkie talkie, heavy footsteps, no Police knock.
No squelch. That's old school. The Police now use Bluetooth earplugs to hear dispatches from HQ.
3. There was no card left. The Police often leave a card.
So I'm going to be spending the next few weeks waiting for the Police to return. Would they wait a few weeks to return? They could. It depends on what the issue is.
Maybe it's an ongoing thing where they will return every few weeks.
It helps in life to not just paint whatever any old picture in the mind and then believe it.
This is the Hand of God. Otherwise what else or who else would I have been thinking about? Suzie again. I asked God to help me with my not being able to stop thinking of someone. That is this person or that person is incidental. The pattern is there.
Often the Hand of God involves the Police. Thoughts of the Police have supplanted in my mind any otherwise tertiary worries with the primary worry being fear of old age and death.

When it comes to finding a girlfriend, her beauty, getting laid, are only two pieces of a 100 piece jigsaw puzzle. There are responsibilities, consequences, issues etc.
Then worries about being on the hook for child support or getting an STD like HPV.
It's like Roger Hargreaves Mr Men. Everyone has their issues. No one is right for me and I'm not right for anybody.
However it's the issues for the most part unless the issue is toxicity, that define and enhance a person. That they are able to go on in spite of their issues.

There is a person on YouTube named Murad Merali. He reports about Princess Kate and others including P Diddy who wrote the take off song based on The Police - Every Breath You Take.
He wrote that no paparazzi saw Princess Kate leave the hospital. That there was a van with no windows only large flowers, funerary flowers, coroners van. The lady behind the wheel had an usual surly distracted expression instead of the usual carefree optimism of London. Merali interpreted this as saying that Princess Kate might be dead. Not in so many words but his reporting style is ominous and murky. Confirmation bias much?
No one has seen her since. No recent photographs.
This is a channel that is compelling and seems sincere but I don't know what's going on.
He says a lot of strange things about the RF.
Perhaps he could reframe it. Reframe it as Princess Kate is being very clandestine to the point of being arcane regarding her hospital stay and convalescence.
Most times when people do a YouTube video, the comments will be full of sympathizers and fellow travelers to whatever narrative the video is advancing. Mursd Merali's videos have a lot of comments that have a swaying hypnotic effect on readers making them believe his stories.
Lady C is on Team Windsor.
And Murad Merali is on Team Sussex.
This will all be settled and all worries will be over when we see Princess Kate in public again.

There is a strain of weed with the most strange name called Notable Nancy. This strain is what was referred to as BC Bud. It is the Pigeon Park strain of the late 80s. Weed was rarely available usually only hash because it was easier to stash.
When weed was available it was $15 a gram 2 for $30 but hash could be had for $25 for 2 grams.
The weed usually weighed about little more than half a gram and it was wet, flattened and wrapped in tin foil. The weed shrank making it smaller. You could get one thin joint from that. Those were the awful days.
But the weed always had an excellent certain look and it was the Notable Nancy strain.
Nowadays you can get full gram pre rolled joints infused with live rosin, diamonds, kief etc.
You can easily look for it online to have a look. Posting pictures of drugs isnt any kind of priority for me.

Today I went to the cannabis shop and got 14g of notable Nancy for $60. That's a really good deal. And some Afghani hash. Again.

The Police still haven't visited me.

Vapes are all the same. Finally I figured that the dynamic with weed is the same as with booze.
Vapes have so many gourmet pedigrees same as beer.
Beer can be IPA, stout, one brand has the water for the beer go through 7 water filters, another brand has their water jet flown from the glacial springs of Switzerland, another goes through a proprietary jet process. As the saying goes, drink 7 beers of any brand, cheap or gourmet and you're equally drunk as the active ingredient is alcohol.
Vapes can be made with rosin, diamonds, etc. There are different gourmet descriptions and flavors, but since the active ingredient is THC, all vapes are more or less the same and a few toes of this brand or that brand will get you 1x high. There aren't any vapes that will get you 5x or 3x or even 2x higher than the next vape if the THC percentage is the same. THC from rosin, diamonds, terp sauce will get you high.
Alcohol be it from ferment wheat, grains, malt hops and barley, juniper berries, corn, potatoes, a cactus etc will get you more or less equally drunk.
A lot of it is marketing.

One alcohol is 40% a other alcohol is 70%. Why pay more for the 70% gourmet alcohol, absinthe, when drinking 2 ounces of the 40% alcohol is equal to drinking 1 ounce of the 70% alcohol. Same as weed. Weed registers at 28% THC. Hash registers at 45% THC.
Most vapes are made with terp sauce which registers at 90 and above. In this new school era of cannabis consumption we are spoiled. Diamonds and terp sauce is a specialized process that extracts the THC from the cannabis plant into a chemical solution. This process is very expensive, time consuming and requires technical knowledge but this is the creme de la creme, filet mignon, G-13, triple AAA grade cannabis product that brings about a sweat inducing high. This is nowadays produced on an industrial scale and goes into THC vapes making it a much desired gourmet connoisseur product. THC vapes advertised as diamonds never have diamonds. It has the sauce that comes with diamonds. Diamonds have a certain consistency and viscosity and could never go into vape cartridges.
So 3 tokes of weed or two tokes of has is equal to one toke of a vape made with terp sauce.
The thing about weed is one eventually reaches a plateau whereas with alcohol, one can get almost unlimitedly drunk.

YouTube. Drew Is Sharing.
There is one video where Drew smokes calyx. A calyx is the little remnant of incipient cats claw like bud that clings on to the stalks of cannabis plants. This nib of first growth apparently has nearly 100 percent trichomes. The fully grown bud is a mixture of leaves, flower and trichomes. Growers will separate the little calyxses of the pot plants and set it aside and smoke it.
Cannabis shops could sell calyxses or have vapes made from calyxses only but that would be a very expensive product.
I learned about the calyx today.

Most pot plants for recreational consumption are sinsimilla which are unfertilized female pot plants therefore these plants don't have seeds.

"No sticks, no seeds that you don't need
Acapulco Gold is bad ass weed"

My cartoon is in development hell.
Lots of details very tedious to draw. Lots of design decisions.
There is a nightclub scene and I have to draw it convincingly. Lots of details. I'll get it done eventually. It might take awhile.
I don't know if it will wind up being a good cartoon or not.

Today when I left the cannabis store I saw a young delinquent waving a fake gun when he was walking down the street. He looked like a meth addict. The gun had a red plastic stopper, it was a squirted gun that otherwise looked quasi realistic.
For a second the gun was pointed at me. I hope that wasn't an omen.
Sometimes life gives you clues. My cartoon. The detail already shown is the lady falls out of the window. My original idea was it was a stab with a knife. A throwing knife. But a better idea for the story is the vector is a gun shot. That's better than a throwing knife. Throwing knife. That's anemic thinking. There is a twist to the story so it's not going where one thinks it's going. The twist hasn't revealed itself.
I have to next draw a kitchen. There are things in a kitchen like a food processor, juicer, microwave oven, bottles contain wine and vinegar from Europe etc. Details like that have to be thought of before drawing the scene.

Today I went to the Presbyterian Church.

On YouTube, DrewIsSharing has a video where he rolls a joint that is 100% weed. The rolling paper is flattened hash paper. A song on that video, Everybody Party Tonight, Cobra Man is a great song. Every once in awhile, there is a great song like

Otis McDonald - Church of 8 Wheels - psychology with Ana
Stella - Charmed - Oscar Clevo longboarding video
Molly Helmsley - Trouble. This song I got when I went to UVIC, bought a sweatshirt then watched the video, A Day In The Life Of UVIC.
Dusty Decks has good songs. a YouTube video about real estate in Sapperton, New Westminster BC.
Surfaces - Sunday Best. From a lokngboarding shorts video. YouTube
Frenesi - Maria Creuza
Doubt - Svinton Mvrcus - songs from a longboarding at UBC video titled Cruiser VS Longboard from Landyachts
Aspirations - Roaches 4. No Sooner Than Ready - from a longboarding video
Y Control - Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Kenny Anderson chocolate skateboards video

I have what is called a drop down type of longboard which means the trucks of the wheels is very close to the edge of the longboard. Which means that it makes it much more difficult to Ollie compared with other models of longboard and of course cruisers and regular skateboards. One can Ollie with drop downs, it takes practice and a different technique.
Drop downs are good for downhill speed and distance which is what they were designed for.

Winter is coming. A girl has no name.
I've been practicing riding on my longboard blindfolded so to speak and dancing in it getting into all kinds of gyrations. Not actually blindfolded I just close my eyes. I keep it up for as long as half an hour. This helps develop a sixth sense besides sight. I am going to keep this up for as long as I can.
This can only help with learning to ride a skateboard.
It is the leaning back that is scary. I feel an electric shock along the back of the legs and up the back in an instant and then I have to correct my balance instantaneously. It is a scary yet exhilarating feeling and I feel a sense of accomplishment whenever I do this because I am doing it without sight.

I saw a skateboard online that I'm thinking of getting. A well known store sells a new skateboard, cruiser style with a 7 ply maple deck for $40. Canadian Tire sells a longboard for $70. I'm thinking of getting the cruiser for $40. I already have a longboard.
The cruiser has wheels that are a good distance away from the edge which makes it easier to Ollie and then kick flip. Skaters say it takes a year to kick flip.
Tips for longboarding. The front foot has to fall behind the back foot in stance.
Feet should ideally face forward rather than sideways.
Skaters on YouTube say never to get your skateboard at a department store. It's better to get them at a skateboard shop. Those skateboards are easily $300. I'm the $40 man when it comes to skateboards.
Cruisers are meant for stunts, kick flops, ollies. Longboard are for long distance travelling.

Church is a really good scene. Lately things have been smooth. A lot of times I had what I thought were problems but when I got the true story, it want a problem at all. I feel nervous before going out but things turn out rather smoothly.

Even if I don't get the cruiser skateboard tomorrow, I'll get it one of these days.

I'm crazy if I don't think that 53 is too old to start learning how to skateboard. I'm not aiming to ever be at professional level.

YouTube video. Insane Church roof drop in. Skateboarding video. It's a major drop from a sloping Church roof.
Praise the Lord, not skate the Lord.
It's Lords of Dog Town, not Lords of Godtown.

Monday, February 5, 2024

Today I'm going to the department store and getting a cruiser style skateboard.
If I could do an Ollie and a kick flip one day, that'd be great. I'm not even going to attempt to try skateboarding stair rails. A skater did that and wound up in the hospital. Very serious injuries. He wasn't wearing a helmet.
A skateboard is a way to get around. Not everyone is going to be like Don Nguyen who Ollie Del Toro, the 2 story high Del Toro outdoor staircase in California.
Just like not everyone who drives a car is going to be like Mario Andretti.
"Under constant economic pressure, Virgil turns to the local pool hall as a means of making a living. "I'm going to be a pool hustler." he tells his friends." Take The Money And Run
I'm going to be a skateboarding fool.
I don't know how good I'll get at skateboarding. 53 is old to make a serious start at skateboarding.
One skateboarder said," It's not if you get better. It's when you get better."

Football was once banned as it distracted men from learning archery. Skateboarding can distract people from all kinds of things. I'd rather practice the skateboard than to draw animated cartoons. It seems kind of spurious at this point. Is it a cartoon anyone wants?

Worst News. King Charles 3 diagnosed with cancer.
That's what the News ticker said which is not much. What kind of cancer. There are 100 kinds. Some are more and some are less resistant to treatment.
What is treatment? Chemo therapy with chemo weed. Primo chemo. London Jealousy would be a good strain.
As always, medical technology can do things now that they couldn't do 5 years ago. Quantum computers are used in hospitals to some extent presumably.
I believe that lasers are used to zap the malignant neoplasms.
Cancer isn't the death sentence it was in the 50s. Lance Armstrong beat cancer. Twice.
BC Premier John Horgan got cancer. Throat cancer which is more treatable.
Yet a lot of people diagnosed with this and their first thought is euthanization. Don't give up. Not until all other options have been exhausted and not before you can say that you really did give it the old college try. Then euthanization would be an option.
King Charles would have a higher level of medical coverage than the average person.
Lord Dawson. Death by Royal speedball. That's rocking in the free world.
King George VI smoked cigarettes and died of lung cancer. Queen Elizabeth had bone cancer. And now King Charles has cancer. That's a hat trick in hockey or a triple play in baseball of cancer. That's a triumvirate of cancer. King Charles wouldn't have lung cancer because he doesn't smoke.
Long Live The King. God Save The King.

The triumvirate was Julius Caesar, Marc Antony and Augustus Octavius.
Julius Caesar was in charge of Rome, Marc Antony was stationed in Egypt and Augustus Octavius was responsible for somewhere else.
Julius Caesar got done in in Rome, Marc Antony got done in in Egypt which then his lover Cleopatra did herself in and she was the last Egyptian Pharaoh. She was of the Ptolemic line. So Augustus Octavius became the Emperor.
Sept means seven in Latin. September used to be the 7th month. But at some time, July and August were added as months in reference to Julius Casear and Augustus Octavius making September the 9th month.

That's why old age and death are the primary worries for anyone. Those who have died young don't have to worry about old age. As for death, they already got it over with so the worse is over. The worst isn't the event because one is thrashing and not really knowing what's going on and it's gotten over with soon enough. A person doesn't take hours to finally die. The final event lasts only a few moments. The worst is the fear just before death.

"I am so afraid of death that I don't want to be there when it happens." Woody Allen

"I don't fear death because where I am, death is not and where death is, I am not." Epicurius

BC NDP MLA Selina Robinson is getting the Salman Rushdie treatment. She is being called to resign after she made statements blowing off Palestine as a "crappy" land without resources and not worth fighting for.
One has to really walk on eggshells when it comes to statements these days because of the polarizing and sensitive nature of this issue. Say any statement and one can easily be identified as antisemitic or Islamaphobic.
What can one say? The US and the UK want a two state solution. Netanyahu wants a one state solution. Betwixt the two extremes, never the twain shall meet.

To be fair, Selina Robinson echoed the same talking points from  the movie Munich:

Avner: "You really miss your father's olive trees? The crappy village he came from? You honestly think you have to get back all that... nothing, chalky soil and stone huts? That's what you want for your kids?"
Ali: "It is. It absolutely is. It will take a hundred years but we will win. How long did it take the Jews to get their own country? How long did it take Germany to make Germany."
Avner: "And look how well that worked out."
Munich

Now the Canadian Antifa are against her. They put graffiti and posters outside of her campaign office. This is strange because the NDP is a left wing party. Antifa are left wing opposed to right wing policies. Stephen Spielberg tacked such a speech into his movie and he got an Oscar for best picture. Selina Robinson says more or less the same words which is probably a popular Jewish opinion since Selina Robinson is Jewish and she gets dialled to resign.
Many Canadians and the Police have her back. She has a lot of friends. And God is looking out for her.
"Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the Lord delivers them out of them all." King David

An NDP MLA named the Honourable Grace Lore represents this neighbourhood. The Provincial NDP has had a fiefdom in this neighborhood for years. This neighbourhood is popular. It's the downtown riding. Recently the Leader of the Green Party Sonia Furstenau moved into this riding running against Grace Lore.
A couple of days ago, a lot of Muslims cancelled out of a $150 per plate dinner that the NDP hosted. Effectively, the party never happened.
With all the Muslim and pro-Muslim opprobrium against the NDP, Sonia Furstenau would see this as advantageous for her.
I am staunchly loyal to voting for Grace Lore. I think she is one of the best politicians ever.
NDP fiefdom vs a politician who said that she never lost an election which would be two elections. It's not like she won 27 elections in a row.
And this neighbourhood also has an NDP fiefdom on a Federal Level.
The NDP is the only Party with a Provincial Party line that's also connected to a Federal Party line. A Provincial and Federal version of the same Party which means more chances for more perks for the riding. You can't say that about the BC Conservative Party or BC United. The Green Party does have a Federal Branch too but as yet the Green Party is a fringe party having only marginal representation at best either Provincially or Federally.
The NDP and the Greens historically have never been the federal governing party in Canada but they have Federal and Provincial representation. The Liberals and Conservatives have only ever been one of the two governing parties in Canada but they don't have Provincial representation.
Elizabeth May is the Federal GP leader and there are only 2 Greens in the Canadian National Parliament.

Vasquez: "Gorman. How many drops is this for you?"
Gorman: "27. Simulated."
Vasquez: "How many combat drops?"
Gorman: "Two. Including this one."

Premier David Eby, the Preem, should have had guts and stood by his cabinet minister and not have her resign. He was former Attorney General aka top cop of BC.
Benjamin Franklin said, "When you trade freedom for safety, you wind up with neither."
When you trade freedom for political correctness, you get neither.
Don't apologize. When you apologize, the leftists smell blood. Now it's 'Apology not accepted.'
So the apology accomplished nothing. Again, when you trade freedom for political correctness you wind up with neither.
While the Right is ultra religious, the left are known for atheism. It's a godless entity that doesn't forgive. Therefore God might not forgive them.
"I might not agree with what you're saying but I'll defend to the death your right to say it." Thomas Payne
Premier David Eby should have been like that.
In two weeks or a month, the leftists will move on to something else.
Woke leftists wanted Trudeau to resign over blackface but Trudeau had guts and he hung on.
Some people are about building houses. Others somehow aren't capable of building houses so they tear down other people's houses. They create and contribute nothing to society except for their acrimonious political sentiments. Ableism VS disableism or unableism.
Selina Robinson pulled herself up by her bootstraps and made something of herself in an occupation that requires a certain skillset. Others haven't quite been able to do that with their lives.
Selina Robinson had a point. Data on Star Trek said, "You're annoyed. That means on some level you agree with me but are unable to accept it."
Defense against logic. When some people can't defend against the cogency of the logic of your reasoning, they will use an ad hominem attack. When you go high, they go low. An ad hominem attack is one form of defense against logic.

It seems that a person using an anonymous name on YouTube can bang out any vitriolic screed about anything in the comments section on YouTube some of these comments might be chat GPT generated, program operative: write out a criticizing comment about some topic.
But if a politician or someone in professional media says something, then there is an issue. But why did the News report on the story? Would Selina Robinson be the only person that Canadian Antifa would be mad at? Knowing them, I doubt it. This could be some PR stunt. Perhaps Selina Robinson wanted to retire in the first place but not quietly. She used this event to retire. If one retires quietly, there are too many strings hanging and lots of separation anxiety and requests to stay on the job and making ham handed excuses about why they simply can't stay on the job. Retiring in the midst of some tumult provides a sense of closure that wouldn't otherwise be there. The professional entertainment media industry is hundreds of years old in one form or another.

I've learned that when a woman cries, it's not always a sign of vulnerability. It's a war cry.
Selina Robinson resigning isn't a sign of weakness. It's a sign that the investigation has now taken on another level of seriousness. The Police, Vic PD, RCMP and CSIS are taking names and busting heads. These operations often take months. I wouldn't go against the government. If anyone takes on the government, they always lose.

Presentism is the idea of holding people of the past which had different cultural moral standards to the cultural moral standards of today in a kind of strange application of  moral relativism.
But what are today's cultural moral standards exactly? Housing crisis? Shrinkflation and skimpflation? Food security issues? Over half the population not having a personal doctor?

Selina Robinson was the Minister of Universities or else post secondary education including colleges and online Universities and colleges. I don't when but a tiny hole appeared on my UBC sweatshirt. This shirt is as valuable to me sentimentally as Bilbo Baggins mithril shirt. The hole may be a result of a tiny cigarette ash or a mouse bite or a moth bite. Being a perfectionist that I am, this upsets me somewhat. But for a true University student that likes to party and smoke weed, this gives a kind of authenticity to the shirt. A kind of museum style lived in quality of an artifact being in this case a University sweatshirt.

One day soon the Right Wing politicians will be in government. Will that make a difference?
On one level, no. Government often have a way of making the populace feel disenfranchised. Out of the loop. If a Left government is in place, you won't get far because you have too many Right Wing tendencies like not supporting SOGI. If a Right Wing government is in place, you won't get far because you have too many Left Wing tendencies like supporting social programs such as old age homes and public washrooms and for smoking cannabis. And if a Centrist Party is in play, you won't get far because you have too many extreme Right and extreme Left Wing tendencies like supporting SOGI and for supporting social programs like public washrooms and old age homes and for smoking cannabis.
Life does this. A friend once said, "First you're too young, then you're not the right guy, then you're too old."
Pastor Joel Osteen says, "Don't believe those lies. You and God form a majority. God being for you is more than the world being against you. You have not seen your best days. You have not seen or imagined the things that God has for you because you remember to thank Him and because you are faithful. God is still on the throne. Don't think of how powerful your problems are. Think of how powerful God is."

I went to Walmart and got my skateboard. Pleasant surprise. I expected to pay $40. It was sold to me for $30 as that was the sticker price. It's not a cruiser style skateboard. It's a regular style skateboard advertised as a cruiser.
Not bad for $30.
I'll need to get better wheels. You get what you pay for. The trucks are made with hard plastic painted black which is profoundly disappointing. The deck seems a little thin compared to skate shop skateboards.

This is the longboard I found on the street.. As you can see it's a drop down with the trucks being very close to the edge which makes it more difficult but not impossible to Ollie. The longboard is kind of best up but the price is right. I should have kept my cruiser skateboard. I can probably get a used skateboard at a thrift store. Or maybe find more skateboards on the street. I found a few skateboards and a few scooters on the street too.

I this town, I also found a really good frying pan that is used on induction stovetops. Really good. It had a pockmarked dimpled bottom like how some cymbals are pockmarked and dimpled and it had a tan leather cover for the handle.
The streets might not be paved with gold but a person can find some very interesting and useful things from time to time.

On this day, when I bought the skateboard at Walmart, I was outside the mall on the South side riding the skateboard. I fell at one point and rode on. Just then two guys, one bearded guy who was walking away but his friend who was bald was making guttural noises. He grabbed my right arm gently then he pointed to his legs. I said to him, "I shouldn't be skating in the parking lot? Is it the way I position my legs?" He then walked away too but he looked back at me a couple of times. The other guy entered the mall going into the pharmacy.
Then I walked on and kick flipped my skateboard up at a perfect 90 degree angle catching it. Then I walked past a tall guy who said, "Nice skateboard." "I got it at Walmart." "I wish they had skateboards at Walmart when I was young." He was probably younger than me. Interesting that he would say that. He was wearing a black cap with a black and grey American flag on it.
The mute guy reminded me of Eliza in the movie The Shape of Water.

Since I wrote this, people might be able to see it on camera. There are cameras everywhere. A scary story. A guy was doing something on the dark web, in a discussion forum discussing something most likely illicit. He then said he had to stap out. He went to a restaurant. When he returned to the discussion, some people on that forum told him what restaurant he went to, what he ordered and even where he sat.

Today is the 72nd anniversary of King George VI death.

A Priest at a Church I go to has a lot of faith partly because he is a Chinese Priest.
In the West, it's drilled into ya that White people are superior.
The Priest only arrived in Canada in the last 20 years and he's about 70 so he didn't have the Western upbringing and conditioning.
Anyways when it's drilled into your head that if you're not White, you're pretty good but not as good as a White person.
There are exceptions. For Black people, there's Michael Jordan and Barack Obama. Michael Jordan had a $40 million dollar a year contract with the NBA and that was 20 years ago. Prorated to what you could get in real estate with that money then, today that'd be easily 3 times the amount. And Barack Obama became POTUS which is the most intense and high powered job on Earth. Royalty is more major but Royalty isn't a job, its a congenital occupation.
Exceptions for White people are some White people squander their Whiteness by injecting drugs and living in a tent. If they were at all artistic they could do animated cartoons on YouTube and be very successful although I imagine there are tons of skillful White cartoonists who aren't very famous.
A White Priest could have a lot of faith if they have a mitigating condition. Conditions like old age or medical problems.

A lot of Monarchs have reigned while simultaneously grappling with one medical issue or another.
In the House of the Dragon, King Viserys got tetanus from the Iron Throne. If he had sucked out the blood with his mouth and spit it out at the time, he would have survived. But he didn't and the tetanus left him disfigured.

I don't know what type of cancer King Charles has. What Type Of Cancer Does King Charles Have? from The Shy Historian on YouTube breaks it down:
The survivability rates:
Prostate - 95%
Blood - 70%
Intestinal 73% - 97%
Bone - less than 36%

King Charles cancer was caught early. But given that a severe form of a mild disease is worse than a mild form of a serious disease, Stage 1 bone cancer would be just as bad as Stage 4 prostate cancer. Don't quote me as I'm not a doctor. Depends how aggressive and or responsive to treatment it is.
With some cancers, one only has weeks or less to live.

My neighbour, the hamster man is being a hamster again. Banging around furniture or objects. I won't be sorry to see the last of him. Every screen I've sold or given him, he's broken. A 32" 720p TV screen, a 40" 1080p TV screen, a 40" 4K screen and an Acer tablet. Screens all broken. He also broke the screens of two of his amazon fire tablets and an Asus tablet too.
"This dude has major ties to the dark side." Little Nicky
My neighbour seems to have ties to the dark side. My neighbour likes heavy metal music, likes Kiss, Motley Crue. He's 57 but acts like he's 17. 57 going on 17. He never talks about Jesus or God, not spiritual at all.
It's that dark energy or dark karma that makes him break so many screens. That's not good mojo.
But he's not a bad person. He told me that he saw a man drop a wallet that was thick with money on an escalator at the Bay Centre and he promptly returned it to the man.
There are people in the downtown eastside that wouldn't break so many screens. The downtown eastside is a supposedly scuzzy neighbourhood.
This has led me to conclude that class is very misleading. You get the same percentages of human tendencies spanning all classes. The same percentages of tendencies to drug addiction, being bonkers etc.
Victoria is supposed to be middle class compared to the downtown eastside of Vancouver. But I get the weirdest neighbours.
One next door who's the heavy metal hamster man, another next door neighbour who likes to feed mice and birds another neighbour down the hall who occasionally yells and flips out and an obese lady who talks loudly in her room often.
And these people are supposed to be of a higher class than the downtown eastside.
I imagine that life in the middle class suburbs could have an interesting cast of characters. The religious nuts who belong to some weird culty religion, the neighbour with the few noisy dogs, the other neighbour who is in a rock band that practices in a garage and its thrash metal, the social butterfly who every other weekend has two dozen cars of their friends arriving to yet another weekend drunken party with loud music. The neighbours who are secretly using "painkillers". The suburbs could be just as or even more awful than a welfare rooming house.
The upper class could have an interesting cast of characters. The ones who like to get major tattoos on their body. Those who are into strange designer drugs that only University chemistry students know about. Those using all kinds of illicit drugs. Anger management problems.
Heavy metal music.
These issues exist across all classes.
The problem is often people have these very negative and toxic and self abusive scripts going in their mind and anything said repetitively forms grooves in the brain like a record. This affected me too. This is when I turned to thanking God often for the blessings that are in my life. My life isn't the 100% ideal I'd like it to be but it does have some blessings and surprises better than I imagined like finding a longboard. I thank God for the blessings I have had that exceeded my previous imagination.

This is why I fear the future. I'm moving in about two years. The next place I move to will also have weird neighbours for sure. Any place has weird neighbours.

A YouTube comment said, "King Charles cancer is treatable. Princess Kate is recovering. We'll see her again. All is fine." or words to that effect. Knock on wood.
"You'll see Jay again my friend." Peter Piper, Run DMC
We'll see Princess Kate again.

I have a story. I recently donated $5 to the Catholic Church and then another $5 to the Protestant Church.
Then today a skateboard which I expected to pay the advertised $40 for was selling for $30 which I got. Resulting in a $10 savings.
This is good luck. It's like the Monkeys Paw but the good form of it. The monkeys paw was evil. But the Church is good. If one donates money to the Church, they will get that money back in some form within the week. Usually in the form of a surprised reduced price in something or a person treats you to a meal. This happens often. Or I find something on the street that I could use and this thing is worth some money. I found lots of things on the street over the years. I had a cruiser skateboard but I didn't think it was useful to me and I had anxiety about having too many things so I gsve the skateboard to someone. It was a nice cruiser skateboard too. I hope I can find another cruiser skateboard one day. Also a regular skateboard but a good one, not a Walmart one.

- longboard
- cruiser
- regular skateboard

I also need a skate tool which sells for $20. A helmet although Chase Hiller doesn't use a helmet and he bombs hills at incredible speeds.
The trucks made of plastic and the wheels of a Walmart skateboard are hideous.
If one isn't planning to bomb rails or do any high height drops then a Walmart skateboard is good enough.

Canadian Tire is on another level from WalMart. Would a serious skateboarder recommend a CT skateboard?
Probably not.

The CT skateboards are better than the Zephyr skateboards of the late 60s.
The first skateboard wheels were made of steel and rotated directly on the axle. No bearings.
Old skateboard wheels were then clay wheels but actually made of clay, paper, bits of woods, bits of plastic and some glue. Then in the early 70s Frank Nasworthy introduced polyurethane wheels. Polyurethane wheels are better than the hollow hard brittle plastic painted in an Earl Scheib shade of robin's egg blue of the Walmart skateboards.
Early skateboard decks were planks of wood or plastic skateboard decks. Wee Willi who is a Canadian introduced the 7 ply maple board which has since been the standard.

Today I went to the hospital to visit Heather. She's been there for two weeks but is getting discharged soon. She is well and on the mend. I do love her a lot. I love her very much and that's the only important thing.

The Zephyr team in the movie Lords of Dogtown did tricks that were pretty good. But a skater, Rodney Mullen revolutionized skateboarding like Freeway Rick Ross revolutionized cocaine when he invented crack cocaine.
Rodney Mullen invented the Ollie. Or it was Alan 'Ollie' Gelfand.
But Rodney Mullen did invent the kick flip, the reverse flip, manuals, the Tre flip, the deck stand and lots of others.
Tony Hawk is very important. His stunts are legendary. Very few people including myself will ever get to that level.
One of the most incredible things I've ever seen was in a skateboard loop while fully upside down while on the top of the loop, a skateboarder does an Ollie while upside down and landing it and getting it. This seems to defy the laws of physics.
About 95% of the things pro skateboarders can do defy the laws of physics. One skateboarder does a backflip off one skateboard on the top of a small flight of stairs and lands perfectly on another skateboard at the bottom of the stairs. That's a Jedi Master.

Skateboarding is a rabbit hole. I'm worried that just like with any other rabbit hole I got into like languages, for eg the Polish language, I would reach some sort of low to medium plateau at some point and then just quit.
What are my objectives in skateboarding. Where would I like to see myself in a few years skateboarding?
- Ollie and kick flip. One kick flip. I'm not going for the Tre flip which is 3 flips.
- Aerial monster walk. Reverse stance while in mid air.
- Jump and while in the air and not changing my stance, I kick the skateboard so that the front becomes the back and vice versa and land on the skateboard as it hits the ground. This takes about two years to learn. The skateboard does a 180. But professionals can make the skateboard do a 360 in the air before landing on it. I won't try to do that.
- Stopping using sliding. Jay Adams first did the stopping while crouching down and using hands. Or he was one of the first. First generation. One can stop using longboard plastic puck gloves or be like Chase Hiller, no paws down. Red Bull speed run 1st place, no paws down.
That's it. I do not plan to Ollie high stair cases or skateboard off railings or bomb extra steep hills. Only low to medium grade hills.

Skateboarding is something else that originated in the United States just like airplanes and record players and lightbulbs and computers, and Star Wars etc
I asked an American, "Am I too old to learn skateboarding?" He didn't think so.
I found a few skateboards. I found a skateboard when I was 33 but didn't think it was more useful than my scooter that I ride all the time using only one hand.
Then a few years ago, I found a cruiser skateboard, nice one. But didn't think I could use it.
Then early this year, on January 2, I found a longboard. As soon as I got it, I thought that it really connected with me. It instantly felt like it was an extension of my body. I started riding and dancing on it right away. I thought of Ben Stiller and the movie Walter Mitty. It looks like Ben Stiller had a drop deck longboard. It wasn't a pin tail.
I discovered that my longboard has one end that slopes up and one end that slopes down. The end that slopes down would be the back end for the Ollie. A professional skateboarder can use either end.

Compared to golf skateboarding is very dangerous. Is hockey or football more dangerous than skateboarding or less dangerous?
Hockey, checks, slams, pucks to the face. Football, a few people weighing 300 pounds with protective padding chasing you and tackling you. Skateboard well the extreme stunts seem to defy the laws of physics. It works along the same principle that if you were to quickly swing a bucket of water tied to a rope directly over your head, no water will spill out. That seems to defy the laws of physics but I think it's just centrifugal force and whatever else is going on. The speed of gravity doubles every second until it reaches terminal velocity which is about 120 miles an hour. So the thing also is to make whatever go faster than 120 miles an hour. A bee doesn't go 120 miles an hour but it's wings do. Or maybe it doesn't. Perhaps it's what the bees wings are made of.
Anyways, skateboarders can do incredible stunts.

Today I went to purchase a pack of rolling papers thinking I'd run out. It turns out I had a pack lying on the table. I just glossed over it and didn't see it. I also got a pack of Reese's peanut butter cups. King size.

I thought of doing a cartoon.

An injured seal washes up on a dock. There is a ranger and a veterinarian medical worker.
The medical worker attempts human to animal mouth to mouth CPR.
The ranger says, "That's not the mouth. That's the vagina."
The medical worker says, "Do I look like I care?"
The ranger then says, "No, that's not the vagina. That's the anus."
The medical worker says, "Again, do I look like I care?"

Thursday, February 8, 2024

Woke up late and had a massive afternoon nap. But before the nap I went to BK and got two Whoppers for $10. The tryptophan in the Whopper knocked me out like a light.

I'm still doing the seal mouth to mouth resuscitation cartoon.
The problem with doing comedy is that in the few moments when one thinks of the joke and its new, the laughter is there. But hours, days later when working kn a comedy project based on that joke, one has to hold on to the comedy idea even though it no longer actually makes them laugh.
On SNL they could think of a joke, and although funny in the writing room, when the skit emerges, there could be a mistake in timing and delivery and the joke doesn't turn out to be as funny as originally thought.
For eg on the Christmas special, Ana Gasteyer said, "Great idea. My niece would love a sack of Schwetry balls." when she should have said, "Great idea. My niece would love a Schwetty ball sack." Even Alec Baldwin and Tina Fey made a facial expression but nodded accepting that the skit turned out as it did.

Steele and Vance said that King Charles doesn't believe in allopathic chemotherapy. He'd rather have homeopathic remedies. I hope it goes well. It would be good to have a hybrid approach. Self medicate with whatever 'herbs' and still see a doctor.

Piers Morgan said some awful words about Prince Harry. He used the words killed and dismembered. Now Piers Morgan got fired and is now exclusively on YouTube. Alex Jones was on YouTube but he said some things about Sandy Hook and he got deplatformed off of YouTube. How long Piers Morgan lasts on YouTube is another thing.
"No friend has ever served me, and no enemy has ever wronged me whom I have not repaid in full." Lucius Sulla. He died as he lived, fucking up Greeks.*
*source: YouTube. Unbiased History: Rome VII - The First Triumvirate. Dovahhatty.
"We Lannisters always pay our debts." Game of Thrones
What if Prince Harry goes after Piers Morgan like he went after Rupert Murdoch and the Sunday Times? Those words are out of order and Piers Morgan should know better.
Free speech does not extend to illegal speech like threats and slander. Slander is spoken, libel is printed.
Piers Morgan wouldn't say that about a member of the Saudi Royal Family. Why would he all of a sudden think that the British Royal Family is less dangerous?

I'm baffled that I had so many specific Royal dreams. I even drew pictures of the dreams. This makes me feel intellectually more connected to them and loyal to them. However I've heard so many scary stories about them recently that makes me not want to be drawn into such a circle. The dreams especially the really vivid Royal dreams are a sign of God's power. God being for you is greater than the World being against you. Royal dream are what Pasot Joel Osteen referred to as, "what God has whispered to you in the night."

The Royal Family's scary
And then they got Prince Harry
It's really a mystery

Panic attack. Titans level. Hustle Castle.
The more prizes I win, the more levels I win. The more levels I win, the more I have to play which takes up more time every day. The more levels I play the more prizes I win to win more levels. Vicious cycle. Unable to stop a habit. Titans level is insidious.

For some dammed reason, I can't stop thinking of nice restaurants. Restaurants like Earl's, Cactus Club, the Old Spaghetti Factory. How patrons and employees there will talk of the latest innovations and conspiracy theories. How patrons and employees there are into skateboarding. But they're also into tattoos too.
For the patron, a restaurant is quite pricey. For the employee it's a slave driving experience. Busy restaurants are intense and can bring about some panic if one has already been having an anxiety disorder. Being swamped is a lot of work for a restaurant employee.
Working at a restaurant is a very uplifting experience. There is a similar carnival party in media res atmosphere as on a cruise ship. The people you'd work with at a restaurant are healthy, intellectual and very well coordinated people who inspire you in spite of yourself.
It's better than being a caregiver for a clumsy retarded person who is slowly dying. That's not inspiring at all. Even being a dishwasher is better than being a caregiver.
Yet there are unionized caregivers who work out of hospitals and privatized caregivers for millionaires and billionaires who don't mind that kind of work at all and certainly make more money than a dishwasher st a restaurant.

A tattoo is there for life. I can't imagine any picture I'd want to look at every day for life.
I've said it before, tattoos are painful, expensive and involve a commitment issue. If I wanted something painful, expensive and involved a commitment issue, I'd get married.
I could get a tattoo of a black Abyssinian Guinea pig on my shoulder. That would be a tattoo of my "daughter" Herbessa.

On the News, a couple of months ago, on pet segment, the animal worker said, "This dog was abused and is traumatized. It doesn't know what's going to happen next. It needs to every day learn that things are safe."
Thats what we all need to relearn after going through a global pandemic.
Any situation that involves life and death, life and death of self and life and death of others activates the panic systems of the body and daily can bring about an anxiety disorder.
Even a delusional situation that involves life and death like be a caregiver to that person and if you don't visit them every four days, they will die. But stop visiting them for months and they are still alive so there goes that delusion. Stop trying to be God. You are not responsible for those who are beyond your power to help.

Today I went to a restaurant. Then I got some milk. Heather visited me today. We went to McDonald's and she got me a McRib.

I went to a store that sells skateboards and I saw an Arbor 40 longboard. It's selling for $200. Pricey but it's such a nice longboard.

I'm thinking of getting it! Even though I already have a drop deck longboard.

Today I went to a thrift store. I got a penny skateboard for $10 which retails online for $90 new so I got a good deal. It seemed like a good idea for the price then at home it occurred to me that it's a kids, skateboard. It's a good skateboard for training on. A person that can ride on a variety of different sized skateboards is more skillful than a person who can only ride one size skateboard. Although it's best to get really good on one size skateboard than to be only kind of good on a bunch of different skateboards. I'd like to do ollie and flips on the longboard but that will take about two years.
My ideal beginner longboard run is from the floor of Beacon Hill Park along Dallas Road towards the Beckley Manor, Holland Park area. It's a smooth sidewalk, steep but not too steep, a gentle incline. It's best to start at 5 in the morning where there won't be too many people but this town is inexplicable in that you can expect to see people on the streets at any time, even at 5 in the morning. All towns are like that.

Is that a nice longboard or what? It's as if a very expensive Yamaha Japanese guitar and a longboard decided to have a baby. There were other skateboards there but they looked very grunge, very bohemian. This longboard has an elegant bourgeois design.
Landyachts is good. But Arbor is too. My Landyachts longboard is a drop down longboard which gives a feeling of cradled stability. The Arbor 40 isn't a dropdown longboard. At all.
I like the symmetrical longboard. I don't like the skateboards that have a pin head and a flat tail, where the head and tail look different. But that's the classic surfboard design. Some people like that. I don't care.

When something is that pricey, I never get it right away. I usually have to sleep on it. I never get big ticket items at first sight. I need time to mull it over. If a person was a multi millionaire and they got a lot of big ticket items every month, they'd wind up with an embarrassment of riches.

This is the longboard of the century. I'm getting it sometime tomorrow. Knock on wood.

This longboard sells for only $100 less than an electric longboard which you can get at Walmart or Canadian Tire for $330.
Those e-longboards are good. But the best e-longboard brand is Meepo.

Saturday, February 10, 2024

My longboard is very heavy. Most longboards are lighter. My longboard is almost as heavy as an e-longboard. One can't do Ollie and Tre flips and 180 flips on a heavy longboard. But heavy longboard are good for downhill. The heaviness slows it down in the same principle as engine braking for trucks.
I hope the longboard is still at the store tomorrow. I can't say what store otherwise you would all try to get it. But the deals and varieties of longboards are endless and in a big city, there is way more selection. Small towns are whatever is available.
The cruiser skateboard is whiide and has an easy casual look that makes it kind of look like a large slipper, it is the kind of skateboard that Lieutenant Starbuck of Battlestar Galactica would have. What I don't like about the cruiser skateboards is the round head and the flat tail. I like symmetrical skateboards and one which one can ollie with either end serving as the pop down end and or the flip up end. If Ollie is difficult, the kick flip isn't 2x but probably 5x more difficult. The timing and getting the skateboard to flip completely and then landing on it on time all in a fraction of a second. To experienced skaters, that's a reflex, it's second nature after so much repetition. The hippocampus is responsible for muscle memory.

A couple of weeks ago, I met my upstairs neighbour for the first time. He'd only been living there for three years. Before that was a tall blonde lady whom I privately referred to as Brienne of Tarth.
One of my neighbours said he is a psycho. But the upstairs neighbour is someone I met before. He's a good guy and an intellectual guy. When I mentioned that I do yoga, he said something about ashtanas. He's a good guy but now as I write this at 2:15 am he's still pacing and moving furniture. He must be looking for something. A remote control.

I plan to take my longboard to Sidney BC. I'll pass the skateboard park just once. People at skateboard parks don't like to see longboards and or people who don't do Ollie or kickflips, just roll around. I'm a beginner so for the first few months that all I'll do. But I won't give up. Familiarity leads to confidence in experimenting with different moves.
At the Sidney skate park at Tulista Park, there is a statue of a bulldog with one foot on a skateboard. There is actually a famous bulldog that can ride a skateboard. That's better than a lot of people.
Then after passing through the skateboard park, I'll skate along the seashore.
Sidney BC has at least one skateboard longboard shop.

The Canadian Tire longboard seems tacky next to a professional longboard such as a Landyacht or an Arbor longboard.

I can't sleep in excitement of tomorrow, getting the longboard.

If I were ever to go to London, I imagine that I won't sleep the night before knowing me.

Today I went and got my longboard. It's a Arbor Flagship 37. Not a 40. 37" rather than 40" length of longboard. Venice CA 1995. Skateboarding came from the United States.
Price: $199.
That's not as expensive as staying one night in a fancy hotel.
Hotels are too expensive. You can get a longboard for the price of a one night stay and a big screen TV for the price of a 2 night stay. That's why I don't really want to travel. Too expensive. Exorbitant use of money if one travels to Europe.

I'm not just going to have the longboards in my room. I plan to ride the when the weather gets better. I rate my longboarding skills at 1 on a scale of 1 to 10. For the first year its going to be lousy in terms of skills and what my brain wants to do and what I actually wind up doing or not doing. I won't give up. I don't care.

I hope to find on the streets as many skateboards as possible. I'd like to find a cruiser and a regular skateboard with polyurethane wheels, not the Walmart molded hollow hard plastic wheels. Gosh those wheels are just awful.
I found a cruiser skateboard in Vancouver in 2004.
Now I won't get the Canadian Tire longboard. That one sells for about $100. That one has polyurethane wheels. The Canadian Tire World Industries skateboards have the Walmart skateboard wheels and hard plastic trucks. But they are bigger than the $40 Walmart skateboards and sell for $60.
The Canadian Tire longboard doesn't look too bad. But why pine for a Fiat when you have a BMW? Arbor and Landyacht are the BMWs of longboards.
I am more than happy with my Landyacht and Arbor longboards. New Years Day earlier this year. I had no idea then that I'd have two good longboards now. Life can have surprises better than expected.
I plan to go to the hill near the beach at 5 in the morning. Even 7 in the morning is early enough. Do a couple of lengths. Top of the hill to the bottom and then walk back up and repeat.

I bought another skateboard. I needed a regular skateboard, not Walmart. I got a Kenny Anderson chocolate skateboard for $119. It is 8" wide. There is a Chris Roberts chocolate skateboard which is the same price but the deck is 7.75" wide. The Walmart one is 7.5" wide. The 8" width has more of a cruiser feel. I also got a skateboard tool for $20. A skateboard tool is essential. This skateboard has polyurethane wheels which is a plus.
Chocolate skateboards is a subsidiary of Girl skateboards company.

I won't get another skateboard now for years if ever. I wanted a complete collection. Longboard, cruiser and regular. Instead I wound up with 2 longboards, 2 regulars, one good, one Walmart and a penny skateboard.
I have to bring these skateboards with me when I move.

A financier on the Mo Amir This Is Van Color show said that the high price of real estate, a large part of it has to do with money laundering. Building more housing onky means more money laundering. There are lots of luxury houses sitting empty as it is a front for some money laundering scam. One could make a law that certain houses can't be money laundered. But that's redundant because money laundering is already illegal. Money laundering of anything, drugs, expensive oil paintings, casinos, real estate.
The situation is not hopeless. This is just a phase in world history such as the tulip fiasco, prohibition, the great depression, red scare of Communism in the 50s. Things will get back to baseline one day. Phases come and go.
It will run its course.
Cryptocurrency is supposedly a decentralized currency when it is really a decentralized Ponzi scheme. To hold its value, speculators and crypto miners  are admonished not to sell their Cryptocurrency as those who don't sell are referred to as steel hands while those that sell are referred to as paper hands.*
*source: Jake Tran. YouTube.
It's not a real estate market. It's a real estate Ponzi scheme.
Not all money laundering involves Ponzi schemes like the money laundering at casinos. Not all Ponzi schemes involve money laundering like Ponzi schemes involving the buying and selling of cryptocurrency.
Real estate is a pnzi scheme and a money laundering scam. That's what makes it so insidious.
What is supposed to pass as a traditional above board, ha, real estate market is a Ponzi scheme as well as a money laundering scam. That's a double play. You're working with two things here. It's a hybrid phenomenon.
And nipping at their heels, are the short sellers using REITs real estate investment trusts and ETFs exchange traded funds where people purchase real estate from a broker. If it falls in value, it is resold to the broker at a higher price netting a profit. If the value increases however, they will have to make up for the shortfall.
Real estate is a game with a lot of elements. Someone will have to come up with a real estates iceberg.
Ponzi schemes end when one person is left holding the bag. Ponzi schemes lead to bubbles. Bubbles are an aspect of Ponzi schemes. How Ponzi schemes continue is when someone is able to find someone buy what they have for a higher price. Real estate included. That's when the bubble bursts when someone realizes that they paid five million for what. A fix me up bungalow? That's like paying $700 for a $70 pair of jeans.
The tulip fiasco ended when someone realized that they paid what. For a tulip?
That's when something else is looked for as a vector of money laundering and speculation.
When the housing bubble bursts, what it will look like is an old couple in an attempt to keep up with the Jones, each making six figures a year who worked decades finally saved enough to be mortgage free and to attain clear title, owning a modest starter home. Then  the bubble bursts, the News talks about it a lot. A few months later a young couple, part of the new post bubble generation moves into a nicer house paying way less. But the old couple was locked into whatever terms they signed up for has to pay whatever rates they agreed to in the contract.
Governments just have to sit back and let it run its course.

A real estate housing crisis iceberg. This is what I came up with. I'm sure it can be improved upon. I hope someone comes up with a better one.

Drugs and tattoos are examples of things that started in the lower class inner city and moved to the suburbs. Drugs were once things that only exclusive jazz musicians like Billie Holliday and Miles Davis used. And tattoos were worn by cooks who worked at restaurants on the docks near the inner city where longshoremen would go to eat after their shift. Then thanks to the Beatles, soft drugs drugs became suburbanized. I would say it was the movie Trainspotting that brought about the suburbanization of intravenous drugs. In some unwholesome segments of the suburbs that is as the vast majority of people who live in the suburbs would eschew such substances.
Skateboards and televisions are things that started in the middle class suburbs and them made its way to the lower classes to people on welfare. Televisions were once the playthings of the rich. Only the middle class could afford their own television. Welfare rooming houses had a communal television in the sitting area where people could watch television together. Now people on welfare not only have televisions, they have 4K televisions too.
Skateboards was once something parents bought for their children or the kids bought the skateboard themselves from money from doing household chores and having a paper route. No more paper routes as people read the News on their cell phones. Then the Lords of Dog Town who were all middle class suburbanites revolutionized skateboarding along with skateboarding magazines like Thrasher. Tony Hawk, Rodney Mullen, Chase Hiller, Kenny Anderson are all from middle class upbringings. Nowadays lots of people on welfare have skateboards, heck even some people in tent city have a skateboard whereas before, in the 70s, you didn't see anyone on welfare riding a skateboard. There is even a brand of skateboards, Welfare skateboards.
It's not that welfare people during the 70s couldn't afford a skateboard if it came down to the crunch. They came from a different generation. The mop top Beatles generation which was more conservative which was before the Sgt Pepper acid Beatles era. The welfare people of the 70s would prefer to spend their money on a bottle of whisky, a six pack of beer and a pack of cigarettes, a steak and a loaf of bread rather than on a skateboard.
In the early 70s before the era of the real estate money laundering bubble, rent for a rooming house was $40 a month. Now it's upwards of $650 a month but you can get your rent subsidized down to $375 a month.

I don't know how good I'll get on the skateboard. If I could get around, do an Ollie, do a kick flip, do a 180 flip then I'll be satisfied. I won't give up on it. I'll stand on it and dance even doing it blindfolded every day for life. It's good for balance which is good for other areas in life. Doing tunings blindfolded can strengthen one's intuition and perception. One isn't solely depended kn for but also on invisible energy flows.
If I can ride from point A to point B, that's good enough for the first year. I won't be impatient and try to do stunts before even learning to ride it some distance. I won't try to learn how to run before I learn how to walk.
I have some psychological issues so I doubt that skateboarding will help me with my social situations. Social problems and skateboarding are two separate things.
I'm 53. When I was 10, I predicted that I'd live to 70. But what does a ten year old know about medical science? People these days often live older. Who knows? But I don't know how many years I have to skateboard. I should have learned decades earlier but if I had, I wouldn't have learned how to twirl my kickscooter with both arms, not just one arm. I'm happy that I learned that. Anyone who can ride the kickscooter using onky one hand is already a natural skateboarder. I think people know that. That's why I found those skateboards on the street because:

God is a force, an algorithm, a verb, but also magic.

"Don't wait for miracles. Your whole life is a miracle." Albert Einstein

Went to the Presbyterian Church. I love the people at the Church. They are great people.

Then I went to Chinatown to get some fried rice which is the only thing I can eat without getting gastro intestinal disorders. Pasta is all right as well. Sandwiches are OK. Anything with rice, or carbo loads such as pasta or starch and wheat such as bread is good for settling the stomach.

I have a thing for older women. Me and millions of others.

I'm still slowly plodding on with the comedy cartoon even though I myself no longer find the joke that funny. Comedy cartoons are for people who will see it later for the first time and since it's the first time for them, it's a surprise and they will laugh. Even one second of laughter is better than no laughter at all.

Global News: London Police say that chemical attack suspect likely vanished in the Thames.
Vanished. Or made to vanish? This sounds very murky and is a sign that the Police are not to be messed with.
In Vancouver, two men threatened a woman with uh, violation and to slit her throat. The Police have banned these two men from entering Vancouver ever again.

I wrote in a get well card at Church today, Hope you get well, God is with you. Romans 3:8.
Crap! I meant to write Romans 8:38-39. Roman 3:8 says something very different. I screwed up. I admit it.
Roman 3:8 says those that do evil get what they deserve.
Romans 8: 38-39 says that nothing can separate us from the love of God.
What a faux pas!

Tip: Never ride a skateboard in the rain. It rusts the bearings, cracks the bushings and softens the wood so there is no longer a pop when an Ollie is done. Bushing are round rubber rings. Every truck has 3 bushings, cone bushing, pivot bushing and bushing so a skateboard has a set of 6 bushings.
I got a skateboard tool but am not sure about loosening my trucks. Trucks too tight means a much larger turning radius. Looser trucks mean smaller turning radius but makes the skateboard more wobbly. Tighter trucks are good for tricks and manuals. Looser trucks are good for carving and sliding.
Most skateboarders have the trucks loosened at a medium setting.
My dream is to longboard at a University like Neena Beena. Her skills on the longboard is poetic. She must have been at it for a few years.
I have to skateboard at UVIC and at UBC. Longboard preferably. Longboard have a cool new school look. Other skateboards, penny, nickel, regular, and cruisers look more old school.
Build a better mousetrap and the world will beat a path to your door. What about a waterproof skateboard considering that the roots of skateboarding is surfing and all surfboards are waterproof or else what else would they be?
In the next 20 years, skateboarding will further evolve. New looks for skateboards and new stunts. Tony Hawk did a 900 then Gui Khury did a 1080 and then Mitchie Brusco did a 1280! A 360 is one complete turn as a circle has 360 degrees. So a 1280 is a quadruple axle, somersault! I never heard of a quadruple somersault, only a triple.
I think Tonya Harding was the first one to do a quadruple axle and Canadian skater Patrick Chan did that too.

Before I felt that the future would be terrible. Now I believe that the future will be somewhat tolerable.
The brain paints whatever picture due to lack of facts. This morning I thought I lost my UVIC sweatshirt or at least left it in the public washroom of my hotel. The washroom has a shower stall hence it is the washroom or a room for washing. So I walked there and looked for it. Not there. Then I returned to my room, looked beneath a pile of clothes on a shelf and there it was.
Not having all the facts doesn't prevent the brain from painting a picture.
That's a micro version of the brain painting whatever BS picture and then believing it and acting on it. This happens in the macro version too like believing that you have a health problem when you don't, Munchausen's syndrome or believing that the future will be catastrophic when it will wind up being just as uneventful and nostalgic as ever.
The future often brings surprises better than imagined and it slowly advances upon you.
For me, from ten years ago, today, I am watching a 4K LG Nano TV, I have an Arbor longboard, a Landyachts longboard and a Kenny Anderson chocolate skateboard, smoking THC vapes made of terp sauce and playing apps on a tablet none of which I could have imagined 10 years ago. 10 years ago, I didn't know that 4K televisions existed. I only found out about them in 2016.

My skateboards are among the best. Much better than department store skateboards. If my skateboards were cars, I feel that I have a Mercedes, a Porsche and a BMW. That's how good I feel about my skateboards.

I was worried about bringing my longboard to the beach trail. What if a derelict tries to take the longboard from me? That's why I don't bring my lightsabers out on the street. I was thinking of taking the lightsabers to the park at night. But some tent city people love at the park. If they see the lightsabers, they'll try to take them and hock them for drugs. Or will they?
People bring their cars here and there and some of those cars are pricey. I've seen nice expensive cars parked in the downtown eastside in Hastings and no one stole them.
I this day and age, people have become desensitized.
Yet that was the same reason why I carry a Dollarama bag when I travel out of town lkke to downtown Vancouver. If someone sees me with a Lousis Vuitton bag, then they would see me as a rich person and try to rob me. I'd advise millionaires to carry Dollarama bags when traveling.
Well first of all, I actually am poor, it's not like I'm pretending to be poor. Secondly, Louis Vuitton bags are for women. Why would I carry one? Then thirdly, LV bags cost a few thousand dollars. Could I and would I be able to afford that? Uh, no. For that price, the opportunity cost is at least two good skateboards, a 4K big screen TV from a pawnshop, a few THC vape cartridges and a few lunches at restaurants.
A 5 star hotel is at least $1,000 a night. For that price I could get skateboards, television, vape csdtdiges and restaurant meals. And possibly a new tablet with massive built in memory. Massive.
A BMW is very expensive. Not just to get but all the corollary costs such as gas, repairs, insurance. One pays for the prestige, status and the effect on the ego. But driving a car is a chore and often a hassle. And there will be days when someone in another car does something unsettling.

I watched much of the Super Bowl. SF first broke the tie with a field goal but a touchdown worth mlrth point would win it for KC and get a touchdown they did after quite a few attempts. How many ateempts do they get? I thought it was 3 or 4.
The touchdown happened quickly and smoothly.
The team that Taylor Swift wanted to win had won. The team that Kelce is on.
At the end of the first half, Kansas was scoreless. This sometimes happens in playoffs. The good team seems to play slowly then turns it on during the second round. Kansas City did a classic turnaround during the third and fourth acts, quarters, in a turn of events that was operatic in scope. Kansas other sports team is the Kansas City Royals.

Now that I'm into skateboarding, I wonder how many professional athletes such as in hockey, soccer, baseball, basketball and football are into skateboarding. It could only help with any skills required in their sport.

I won't quit and won't give up skateboarding ever. Expect to see me do it badly for the first year. I'll be just awful. But will get better.
I wonder what the weather will be like tomorrow. No chance of rain. So says the forecast. I think I'll go with the lighter and more elegant longboard rather than the heavy longboard. My bourgeois longboard.

The ideal: longboard near the beach at 7 am.
The reality: woke up at 10 am. Stay home all day working on my comedy cartoon.

Stayed home all day. Massive afternoon nap.
Yesterday I tried watching For All Mankind. But it had no subtitles and a lot of it was in Russian. It's a good premise. In 30 years, people will be given incentives to move to the moon and bigger incentives to move to Mars. Space travel creates anxiety and the moon and Mars is a backwater.
I'm trying to watch another show called Silo. The premise is the opposite. The characters live in a silo a few miles underground to escape some global pandemic. It's like the covid pandemic on steroids.

Skateboard is good for balance. Balance helps in all areas of life including confidence. I hope to be able to meet an older woman. That's where I need confidence.
I'm practicing dancing with eyes closed on one skateboard on top of another. It's very wobbly but this will help me get the basic feel of riding a skateboard without falling off.
On a YouTube video, Pintail Longboard BoardGuide Review from Original Skateboards video, a person rode on 3 moving skateboards one stacked on top of another.
I plan to be doing this exercise for years. It gives a feeling of accomplishment to be able to teeter and balance with eyes closed without falling off. I am relying on pure sense of balance rather than visual cues. One day I will be able to develop apophenia from this which is the ability to see patterns I couldn't see before. I can be able to tell if a lady likes me. I fear the future.
I will always be a friend to Heather. She is a sweet lady. I'm not sure that I want to marry her but I do love her and I worry about her health.
Vice magazine has a skateboard challenge and as you can imagine, it's quite extreme.

Quantum computers Dan solve in a few minutes, a problem it would take the best traditional computer a few hundred thousand years to solve. But could AI generate '"the golden joke"? The golden joke is a joke that even twenty years later, every time the joke is thought of or said, there would be a wave of invuluntary laughter.
Once one of those jokes are made, there would be a lot of others. When one person surpasses a milestone like the 4 minute mile, often there soon are others who also surpass that milestone.
A quantum computer can't even generate a porn picture of a woman that doesn't have six fingers on one hand and seven fingers on the other and three anuses let alone conjure up the perfect joke.

I am anxious about taking my new chocolate skateboard out on the streets. It's a brand new skateboard and will get scuffed up over time. Skateboards are better once broken in, like a pair of shoes.
Chocolate is a great name for skateboards. The feel of the skateboard is a smooth and sweet ride just like chocolate.

There is Jedi Knight and there is the normal white collar rich people on Coruscant. I would rather be a Jedi Knight who can do gymnastics than a white collar rich who owns a nice vehicle but otherwise can't do gymnastics.

Truth is stranger than fiction so here's a delusion story about my delusions:
SCTV. Andrea Martin did a commercial where she said, "Are you in that cult again?" This was around the time when I searched William Booth and Dietrich Bonhoeffer on the Internet. An old guy at the Chinese Presbyterian Church said William Booth was a Salvation Army man. I told him that William Booth, a different one, invented the zip pull parachute.
Another guy told me about DB who was in World War 2 or something like that. Or was DB someone who lived in Alberta? Whatever. I thought Andrea Martin was referring to that.
The Eugene Levy. SCTV. Eugene Levy's son said to Eugene Levy, "Can you do that without touching my food?" I thought that was a reference to how very often at Church, there are hugs and I hug a few ladies. A lot of those ladies are married and I hug them regularly yet often they hug me, I don't know which. I get self conscious about hugging married ladies all the time because they are married. I thought Eugene Levy's zone was referring to the husbands thinking, "Can you not hug my wife all the time?" It's gotten to the point where the hugs are happening so often that I wonder if I should go to another Church. My intention is to behave with Honor.
A lot of cultures are very huggy like French culture.
If a young woman has too many boyfriends, the parents are worried. If a young woman has no boyfriends at all, the parents are worried.
If too many men want to hug a man's wife, he gets worried. If no one at all wants to hug her then he thinks that no one thinks his wife is attractive.
It's an unconscious thing. Having pets and hugging them all the time leads to hugging people and often when I don't expect it, ladies want to give me a hug!
I see the ladies at Church peering at me from behind their tea cups.
I've known some of, not all of, these ladies for over ten years now.
This is known as delusions of reference and I am very prone to these delusions.

When I go to the video store, or when I go to the telephone kiosk at the mall, I never see too many people there.
For videos, there are websites that have new movies. For telephones, there are apps called Fongo which is basically a free phone, Canada wide calling. Long distance etc it's an app so you have to pay. But the free version has Canada wide calling.
My phone. Today I got a text. "You collected the money right." Scam. Then I got another call from a strange unknown number.
Phones these days are a hassle. I have to only leave it during select times. When I hear it vibrate, it means a text from a strange unknown number. J get a few of them.
I turned off my phone completely. I'm scared now. I'm getting calls from all these strange unknown numbers. Is that normal?

Residents of Richmond BC don't want a safe injection site. The downtown eastside has a safe injection site and look how well that turned out for Chinatown.
There's a housing crisis but land and resources could be found for a safe injection site?

There is a YouTube video called The Most Dangerous Place In Britain. I thought that King Charles intestines was the most dangerous place in Britain.
Princess Kate. AWOL. and MIA. Absent without leave. Missing in action.
Comments on Murad Merali videos say, "Spent the last ten days being moved from castle to castle. Weekend at Bernie's?"
Usually the Royal family likes photo ops especially for announcements. No photos of Kate.
The Firm? More like the Farm.
Sudden death from eating disorders usually occurs as a result of cardiovascular issues. In some photographs, Princess Kate looked rather skeletal.
Unless she looks really awful like hair cut really short and in a wheelchair. Then I could see wanting to avoid the cameras but I don't think it's come to that. But not even a royal wave.

Global News said that there's a new opiate that's 25 times stronger than fentanyl.
A junkie might say, "You say that like it's a bad thing."
Unlike other products apparently rumors of lethality enhance sales of a dealers product. That means the stuff is strong.
25 times. That's more bang per buck or in this case, more buck per bang.

The notion for the safe injection site in Richmond passed in city council. Vancouver has always been like this towards Asians. When Vancouver was being built in the 1850s, the Chinese were given the swampy area next to False Creek which became Chinatown.
Then when a freeway was to be run through Vancouver the freeway was slated to run through Chinatown and Hogans Alley which was a Black peoples neighborhood.
Richmond is unofficially the new Chinatown, lots of Chinese people live there so naturally they say a safe injection site should be there.
Neighborhoods like the downtown eastside, Kensington in Philadelphia, is what Richmond will be like. Those junkies just destroy whatever neighborhood they are in.
There aren't any safe injection sites in some other nicer neighborhoods in Vancouver where there's mainly White people since most junkies are White people but that doesn't mean that there won't one day be.
Junkies are an international phenomenon. They are an archetype.
No one reads this blog.

I hope to find a cruiser skateboard. A really nice one.
A couple of years ago I found a really nice induction frying pan in a dumpster. Someone left a frying pan on a street somewhere in the suburbs near the beach. I went back to try to find it but it was gone. There was a dumpster near there so I checked it out and found a really nice rrying pan. Better than the one that was left on the street.
I want a 10" wide cruiser. I had one before but didn't think much of it then so I gave it away. This led to the million and one microdecisions chains of events that led me to finding the longboard. Had I kept the cruiser I doubt I'd find the longboard. If I didn't find the longboard I wouldn't be thinking of skateboarding at all. That cruiser that I had didn't have any grip tape on it. I remember that about it. I need one with grip tape. And a nice design too. A 60s art nouveau surfer design. It would be major to have a wide cruiser skateboard with an Alphonse Mucha painting design on it.

Alphonse Mucha was a mojor painter during the turn of the last century.

I try not to look it, but I often worry. 90% of the things we worry about don't happen.

I thank God for being with me during this moment. I thank Jesus that he is with me during this moment.

Dinesh D'Souza made a documentary about the persecution of Christians.
I am just trying to be the best person I can be. I make mistakes. I am just trying to find a form of spirituality to help me make sense of life and of growing old and dying.

2 Timothy 1:7  For God did not give us a spirit of fear but of courage and sound mind.

Dune 2 is being released next month. I want to go see the movie.

My future is something I dread. I don't know if I have the strength to handle it. New worries are in the foreground. With time, they become part of the background.

Today Heather visited me. We went to a pizza restaurant and I had a beer and a pizza. Heather had a beer and 2 pizzas.

Today I got a lightbulb, an 1800s style steampunk lightbulb at Dollarama for $4.50. Good price. Usually they're quite pricey. I was looking at some of these lightbulbs at Canadian Tire never thinking I'd be able to afford one. They were pricey but I don't remember how much.

I hope to see an omen on the streets that I'll see Dune part 2. I have a strange worry that I won't see it. I hope to see it on opening day.

Alexei Navalny died in one of the most preventable deaths. He was poisoned on a plane trip. That was meant to kill him. But he was flown to Germany for medical treatment. His wife was there too. But what does he do? Flies back to Russia. He was detained at the airport as they were waiting for him. He was home free. Why did he fly back to Russia especially when he was poisoned on the plane. That should have been a clue.
And he also went against Putin. Most people in Russia indeed the World knows that one doesn't try to go against the Head of State in a non democratic country. The onky way to go against a head of State and be the next head of State is to join a political party that has historically been known to win Federal elections. In Canada 100% of all Federal elections were won by the Conservatives and the Liberals. The old British system. The Whigs and the Tories. So joining the NDP wouldn't be the smartest move if you wanted to achieve that objective. Win the leadership convention and have a stint as opposition leader. Win an election for your party and then you are the head of State. Russia doesn't have that.
In Russia whether or not the election is rigged, Putin wins. That's how they roll.
In the US whether or not Trump wins, the election is rigged. Democracies are very funny things. Is it truly a democracy when you have things like changing electoral boundaries, vote stacking, vote rigging, vote splitting, electoral colleges, coalition governments, appointed and not elected leaders etc. Well, it's kind of a democracy.
Alexei Navalny should have known that going against Putin is a very dangerous game. Dangerous as it is, he most likely got quite a few warnings direct and indirect but he probably glossed over them to his demise.
In Russia, they have an ideal where if you are mega rich, share what you have with the government, with all people, be loyal to the government and leader and the state will provide for you and protect you. I think every country is more or less like that.

At Joel Osteen's Church, Lakewood in Houston Texas, a lady shot some bullets. Killed a mother and injured the mothers son. She was killed on the spot when first responders arrived like Gordy the Chimp in the movie Nope.
Ghastly. Would that place be haunted now with the ghost of the woman who got shot? Not if she made it into the light. Only very negative people become earthbound spirits so the belief goes. Being a Christian and learning from Joel Osteen, I think she would have made it into heaven and she probably has a ocean of people praying for her. An ocean of prayers. That helps.

It's been a strange week. I have worries about the weeks to come.

Isaiah 46:4. Even to grey hairs and old age, I will sustain you. I have made you and will carry you. I will sustain and rescue you.

The Bible has a lot of inspirational verses.

The Police are major and I admire them. There is always a Machiavellian edge to the Police which I am cautious and wary of.
There is a feeling when you are in a flow of what you were born to do. There is a science but also an art to being a Police Officer. I would say that one is born a Police Officer or not at all. On their first day of life they are already a Police Officer, born with feet that are slightly flat and a cry that sounds like a Police whistle or a Police siren.
Some people have the talent or personality to do be a Police Officer.
The Police aren't only Machiavellian. They can be very tender as they have been known to pluck people from raging rivers and the Police have saved a lot of lives.
I have a talent and flow of being a cartoonist. At least I hope I do. My cartoons are amateur. So I'm not as good at cartooning as a professional Police Officer is at policing.
Yet a lot of Police Officers say that they wouldn't be able to draw an animated cartoon. A lot of people have a lot of different talents.
Because of my mental issues I think I might be a disappointment to the Police. I am trying to be the best person I can be but I have issues that I would be glad to see the last of. I only have about 30 years left to live at optimal. It's not like a 20 year old who's staring at 50 or 60 years down the pike.

I went longboarding at Dallas Road this morning on my bourgeois longboard. The Arbor Axis 37. It was better than I expected. I skated the longest stretches yet. It was a dream come true. Heather once told me that the future can be better than I imagine. This is one example. I am glad that I am still alive to be able to do this. The experience, longboarding while looking at the sea and listening to MacIntoshPlus - Floral Shoppe is something that I could have never imagined for even a second last year. That song appeared on a Neena Beena longboarding video.

US history. Trump has been in court a lot over the last year and a half. One time he was brought to a prison and processed which presumably means he was asked to remove shoes, all belongings from pockets, searched, fingerprinted and photo snapped. That's standard procedure.
During the inauguration of President Joe Biden, he wasnt invited to attend. During the funeral of President George Bush, the other Presidents snubbed him. President Clinton and President Obama ignored him. President Jimmy Carter the elder statesman made an acquiescent but still Machiavellian wave.
A man who was ten years ago still a private citizen private sector as Trump won in 2016 VS four ex Presidents public sector. I'd say Trump is in over his head. Being in the crosshairs of four ex Presidents.
January 6 didn't help. The other Presidents most likely view Trump as indirectly complicit during that over the top event.
I wonder why the FBI raided Mar a Lago. I wknder why he's in court all the time and having to endure the indignity of being processed in prison which is always an edgy experience.
President Trump was also barred from owning any businesses in New York for three years. For an ex head of State this is quite unusual.
Whatever you're going through isn't quite on that level.
Mark Zuckerberg was in court. It wasn't a local judge and local prosecutors who are major enough, but it was well known high powdered US senators who yelled at him from cross the stand. Senator Lindsey Graham said, "You have blood on your hands!"
Again, whatever you're going through isn't quite on that level. Hopefully.
The point is that Trump, Zuckerberg, whenever you deal with Police, courts, judges, lawyers, you feel the power of  the government. One doesn't fully understand or appreciate the power like when they have an encounter with those with  jobs of authority and government power. Fear God but also fear the government.
F around Find out. Trump is in the find out part of that.
But the good news is F around not much, find out not much. F around a lot and find out a lot. Trump is finding out a lot.
The chance of Trump winning the election is inversely proportional to the number of court cases he has. The more cases, the more of an uphill walk it will be. With so much litigation strictures incrementally inhibiting his campaign, it's like death by a thousand cuts.
The next US election will be a battle between a crackpot woke administration or a crackpot MAGA administration.

Navalny and Trump had some things in common. They were private citizen visionaries who had the vision to contest the government for the leadership of the Nation.
Because the US and Russia have two very different political structures, Trump was more successful at it than Navalny.
I wouldn't say anything about Russia that I wouldn't say about Canada. In Canada when truckers tried to take on the government, the government responded.

Navalny and Rasputin, comparisons.
3 syllable names.
Rasputin was born and raised in Northern Russia and was in one of the major cities in Russia, Moscow, St Petersburg, whichever where he died.
Navalny was born and raised in one of the major cities in Russia and was in Northern Russia when he died.
Rasputin worked for the then head of State in Russia. Navalny worked against the current head of State in Russia.
Rasputin was accused of being a German spy. Navalny's widow lives in Germany.
With Rasputin, there was a Putin on one side, Ras-Putin. With Navalny, there was also a Putin one one side, Vladimir Putin.
In one case, the Putin, Ras-Putin was done in on orders of the State. In the other case, the Putin was the one who was the Head of State when orders were dispatched.

Alexei Navalny will always historically be remembered as a poetic figure of political defiance and high ideals just like William Wallace of Scotland.

Alexei Navalny's body is being withheld from next of kin who understandably want an autopsy. If a person died of a heart attack, the skin would be blue. If a person died of asphyxiation, Novichok or otherwise, the skin would be red or purple.

My theory. A completely imaginary story but where my monkey brain takes me.
Alexei Navalny's was an extremely high level but not ranking as they are not the same thing, CIA sleeper asset. He was given the utmost next level Sidney Gottlieb style MK Ultra programming with mind control where the mind is split and segmented into different personality quadrants referred to as cells and altars. These cells and altars can be activated or deactivated with certain code words. The Manchurian candidate. Navalny's was taught in trade craft and infiltration and probably knew a few languages well such as English, Russian and German. That's why where most people would immediately back down from fear from questioning from the Russian Police, Navalny's MK Ultra programming made him never back down and to always be snarky to the Police because his final objective was to achieve the Presidency of Russia. This explains why when he was in Germany, when anyone else would have just stayed in Germany, Navalny went back to Russia despite his wife being with him. The safe word or the word to deactivate the programming could have been given but the MK Ultra programming for Navalny was so deep seated, it would have taken 100 safe words to be recited and there wasn't the time.
Finally in prison in Northern Russia either he was snarky one too many times to the guards or else someone high up didn't like what Navalny was saying j the video conference he was hiding from his cell and would have been the only ones with authority to give the final order. Liquidate, which is an old Stalinist term.
I don't know much about Navalny but according to this fictional theory, he was someone who the CIA would think would be a successful possibility to accomplish the mission.
What was it about him? Who knows.
Navalny would have wound up being not much better and possibly worse than Putin.
George Orwell Animal Farm. Russia is a extraordinary place. Millions of square miles. Lots of farmers and people living in the cities stretched across thousand of miles. Certain political pressures.
It takes someone with skill like Putin to keep all that together. According to this crazy mad theory, Putin doesn't have time for CIA sleeper agents and any attempts at an American puppet government.
'This mission doesn't exist. Nor will it ever exist." Apocalypse Now

If you think that Putin is scary, his handlers are even scarier. That's who's behind Navalny's death. All politicians and heads of State and Royalty too has handlers on the basis that no person can fight with martial arts or with guns or otherwise a thousand people let alone millions of people. That a politician is in power is on the consensus of huge swaths of people who individually or more likely collectively are more powerful than the head of state or any politician. Eminence grise, Cardinal Richelieu, the power behind the throne.
And these handlers scrutinize one another along with the head of State or politician or whatever. This is the system of checks and balances that has been part of human history for centuries.

Peace be with you.

Am watching a TV show called Tokyo Vice. Absolutely riveting. Gripping like grip tape on a skateboard. I doubt I'm going into a 16 hour rabbit hole to watch all episodes.

I fear the future now more than ever before. Remember to be happy. The amygdala is well known for being the fear centre but its actually the emotional centre which registers all emotions including happiness. The negativity bias which is the sympathetic nervous system trying to protect us is what makes fear stand out.

I have to trust that God is with me. Pastor Joel Osteen said, "What faith and fear have in common is they ask us to believe something we don't see."

Today I went to Church. All my friends at that Church were there for me in spite of my current difficulties that I won't get into. The people at Church were in my corner. I'll never forget that. Ever.

I'm going longboarding near the beach again. If the sky looks like it has at least a 25% chance of rain then I won't go longboarding.

I wonder if I'll ever be able to visit England and see Buckingham Palace. Visit the States too.
The Kingsman. The Statesman.

The thing about skateboards, longboard, etc is that one can't stop in a short time they they could with a scooter. That's why I rode the scooter for years knowing that about the skateboard. A car moves faster than a skateboard but has a shorter stopping distance and can stop suddenly.
Dallas Road, going East to West from Beacon Hill Park to Holland Point Park. At Holland Point Park, there is a good ten to fifteen second stretch where the incline increases as the skateboard goes faster. At the bottom is a stretch of road that levels out.
The thing is either to when I feel it start to speed up, to stop or else ride it out but that takes skill and guts. I tried stopping when it was going fast using the rear foot stop and I took a spill. I remembered as I was falling to roll like a Hollywood stunt an, deflecting the impact.
On the way to the beach, the other day, I found a squashed pop can. Squashed pop can, tape it to your hand or tape it to hands that are wearing gloves and that's the 70s style life hack longboard gloves in case you can't afford $40 for longboard gloves with pucks.

Gaza is a wreck. Children detained and put in prison. Anyone under 18 is a child. Hospital workers suspected of being collaborators were also detained. Handcuffs, holding cells with no clock losing all sense of time, thinking that its about 11pm and then finding out that it's 5:30 the next morning with no tablet, apps, games, television is a very wretched experience. That's the standard protocol.
I hope that the war ends in Israel. I hope that the next Prime Minister elected in Israel is more agreeable to a two state solution.
Lots of children in Gaza have been wounded and killed, adults as well. This is unacceptable. Collateral damage explains it but doesn't excuse it.
This war of attrition will probably lead to a stalemate which will end the war.

George Orwell was a Police Officer in Burma and had to throw a lot of locals in holding cells. He worked in a prison that exercised capitol punishment.
Then when he returned to England, he got drunk and wanted to get arrested for a relatively minor infraction to see what the holding cells were like and also to bring himself closer to his tramp friends on the streets of Down and Out in Paris and London in a kind of initiation ritual. One can't say that they fully know about the workings in any city until they spent a night in the holding cells.
The Police Officers who arrested him didn't know at first that Orwell himself was a former Police Officer. Reading between the lines, they might have eventually known. Orwell was the only one who was given a meat and potatoes dinner. He was brought from one holding cell to another. However he counted the bricks in each cell and they counted to the same number.
Orwell was released in two days rather than the standard four. They probably found out who he was. He was supposed to pay a sixpence fine which he didn't have because he was infiltrating the tramp world. The time spent in the cells served as sufficient so he didn't have to pay and was released.
Orwell tried to get arrested again as a panhandler but the cops wouldn't arrest him. So after a couple of days of that he gave up on the experiment.
He wrote about this in the short story titled, Clink.

Where is Princess Kate?
Someone in YouTube comments said if an ordinary person was missing for this long, even with the family saying she's alive, the Police would investigate.
Could the chief of Police of Scotland Yard know what's going on but is letting it go ahead?
The Police can't be charged with being complicit or with being an accessory because they are the Police department. That's the thing.
Would the Police know what's going on? Likely. They are the Police. And something at that level.
Papparazzis can take a picture of her topless when she was supposedly in a sdcretive secluded location but they can't get a picture of her in the midst of a routine medical transfer which would have a non clandestine premise.
Papparazzis have been known to take pictures of people behind rose bushes, through shuttered windows etc but no snaps of Princess Kate.
Well if we don't see Princess Kate in Easter which is Sunday, March 31, we'll then officially be in the Twilight Zone.

It will take me months to learn anything on the skateboard. If I can ride from point A to point B, that would be good. Things I have learned so far:
- when pushing, start with front foot facing forward. Once both feet are on the board, quickly turn front foot to the side.
- precarve.
- riding switch. Essential in skateboarding. That's riding with the other foot forward from the one usually used.

The cruiser style of skateboard is the one that Marty McFly had in the movie Back To The Future. I hope to find a cruiser skateboard one day but the ETA of that is a few years. On the average, I find a skateboard on the street once every few years, certainly not every year.

Today I went longboarding and was able to do that 12 second slight hill. At one point, I was afraid that I wasn't going to be able to stop but I did finally stop putting my foot down to stop. I thought I would trip if I did it but at that point the skateboard was actually slowing down during the leveling off of the road. Plus, the more you practice, the more you can stop at higher speeds. You just get used to those motions like muscle memory.
At one point during the slight hill acceleration, I did a crouch down pose.

Today I visited my friend from Church who lives at Fisherman's Wharf. She said there was a strange guy with a foreign accent in her neighbourhood at Fisherman's Wharf who just stares at her house. Otherwise moving around very skulkily. Weird. I told her to report it to the Police. The Police might already have other complaints about this person from other residents.

I'm still eventually going to do the other cartoon. This won't give much away and no one reads this blog or would care about this but like my other cartoon Steampunk Police, no one dies in the story. You think the story is going in one direction and that someone has died, but the twist ending reveals that no one had died. This makes it a violent yet essentially non violent story.

Scenes I have yet to draw.
Drew already:
Introduction scenes which displays setting and era in history. Scenes that initiate the plot of the story.
Have yet to draw:
- dining room where the couple in the story is introduced. A rich luxury nightclub owner named Edward Escoffier and his wife are introduced.
- nightclub exterior and multiple interior scenes with patrons each having a cyberpunk futuristic nightclub costumes. Illegal drugs are sold at this nightclub.
- A I humanoid robot shop where the husband visited to ask about a humanoid nightclub dancing girl and where the wife visited as well to ask the price of an AI robot from curiosity like a person might enquire about the price of Apple virtual reality goggles.
-  the husband cheating.
-  an argument. A ahooting
-  how the Police find out about the case and subsequent arrest scenes.
End credit scenes.
I'm not trying to do an extended version of the Lord of the Rings trilogy length of cartoon so this is going to be a short story. I'm trying to keep it as brief as possible.
Brevity is the soul of wit as Shakespeare said.

Welcome to World War 3. So many countries involved on a proxy level, sending mkney, sending arms, in some cases troop deployment, its World War 3.
This is a World war on 2 main fronts, Ukraine Russia and Israel Gaza.
World War 1, the two main fronts were the Western and the Eastern front. Eastern front, Turkiye, Lawrence of Arabia, Gallipoli, Ottomans.
World War 2, the two main fronts were the European theatre and the Pacific theatre.
War is quoting from a movie, military industrial happiness management.
This World War 3 has a Northern front, Ukraine, and a Southern Front, Gaza. Since a Word War already had a Western and a Eastern Front, its about time that a World War had a Northern and a Southern Front making a matched set.
Defense and military industry stocks go up. Wars last for five years. The stock market is a Ponzi scheme. First year first wave, the big players buy up these value chip stocks in vast quantities, board lots, whatever, as production and demand and government paid contracts are increasing due to the war. Second year second wave. Banks see the relatively secure option of defense stocks and include that on their investment portfolios which clients can also purchase as an alternative to normal saving and chequing accounts. The money is locked in for a time but you get extra interest with this. With a portfolio, even if one stock tanks, there are so many others to fall back on so that doesn't really affect the overall average expected returns. Around the fifth year is the third and final wave. Medium players boiler rooms and hedge fund maniacs and the small time investor who likes to dabble in the stock market if they think there's a hot tip. There are too many players. The accounting cost is too high. It costs as much to process a $50 deal as it does a $5 million deal. The big time players know this as there must be an index to the administrative costs due to so many participants so they pull the plug pocketing the cash. There is a ripple effect as the pool has shrunk so much that it's impossible to make up for the shortfall. Result, bankruptcy all around.
The roaring 20s. Stock market scams. Guaranteed get rich. Even bellhops and shoe shine boys bought stocks. As soon as the big players found out that shoe shine boys were purchasing stocks, they said, "It's time to pull out."
This takes about 5 years.

War equation

   Artificial scarcity and price fixing
+ plunder resources. Military runs on a hybrid model like Universities. Government subsidized and for profit corporation.
+ install a puppet government
+ money laundering for billionaires
+ stock index inflation

As major as World War one and two was, 95% of the surface area of Earth didn't see any fighting. World War 3, now is like that. World War one and two weren't called that in their time or at least not in the first few days. It is only upon reflection that such bellicose monikers applied. Two fronts, most countries in the world in there to one level like a dirty shirt to one level or another, this fits the criteria of a world war. There will most likely be others in the future at one place or another.

Why doesn't Israel send military to Qatar where the Hamas Leader Hasman Abdullah or whatever his name is is hiding? Unless one cuts the head off of a snake, until one achieves checkmate, the match isn't won. Bizarre. Objective, take out Hamas, presumably completely fighting in Gaza the whole time when the leader is in Qatar. That makes sense.
All suspects in 9/11 had Saudi passports so go and carpet bomb Afghanistan. That makes sense.

Today I went skateboarding. I used my regular chocolate brand skateboard. I skateboarded next to the Church on the hill. Then I skateboarded in front of the welfare office for all of three minutes. Welfare skateboards. To skateboard in front of the welfare office while on actual welfare would be major. It would have been more major if I could do an Ollie kickflip off of the stairs. There's only 4 stairs. I counted.

I don't know if I'll ever be able to do that. To go from point a to b and be able to stop when I need to is all I want to learn. In time, I'll experiment. When I first rode the scooter, on the first day, I used both hands. In a couple of months becsuse using two hands felt weird. Using one hand feels a lot freer. It wasn't until ten years after that I started doing parkour and twirling the scooter. It wasn't until a couple of years ago until I could twirl the scooter with both hands.
Who knows what I'll spontaneously try and learn on the skateboard.
I won't do anything dangerous like skating on handrails or off great heights. Forget that. When going off of a great height, if a helmet isn't worn, then a fall backwards cracking the head on the pavement equals death. That's a skateboarders nightmare.

I saw YouTube videos of Princess Kate recorded during Christmas 2023 the time she was last seen. I looked for any signs of impending abdominal issues. Googling abdominal issues, I found out that abdominal issues can occur suddenly. Sudden intense pain in the abdominal area is a reason to call emergency immediately.
I looked for signs of anorexia but she didn't look much more thinner or less thinner than usual.
This is man in the iron mask level. Gone so many days. There's a British story of two Princes, Edward V and his brother Richard, Duke of York in 1483, that were locked away in a tower. Anyways, the Royal children of Prince William and Princess Kate haven't been seen as well.
The Internet says all this.
Personalities in dreams act differently than they do in reality. In dreams, Royals are kind and encouraging. In real life they are very Machiavellian and now mysterious.
Someone in YouTube comments said that they observed that five different people played the role of Prince Charles, now King Charles.
Stagecraft. Invent a character and different people portray that character throughout life. So there is a monarchy and there isn't. The monarchy is a department of the government.
I don't know if I believe that. I wonder about the Paul McCartney, William Campbell conspiracy theory. The original Paul McCartney had more of a round moon face. The new Paul McCartney has a thin face. But conspiracy theories also say that a few people portrayed the role of Paul McCartney and John Lennon too over the years.
It's on the internet. It must be true.
The potential for kooky conspiracy theories on the Internet is limitless.
Believe half of what you see and none of what you hear.

I want to write about something on my mind. I'm thinking of getting an electric longboard. The Meepo V5 has a carrying handle which might make it look tacky like leaving the made in China sticker on a Walmart skateboard.
The Meepo V5 retails for about $420 on Amazon. With taxes, shipping, it could be $500 so I'm mulling it over.
With an electric longboard, one can get lazy and not work on pushing skills. Also with the electric brake, one doesn't bother learning braking skills.
Still its very fun. I can see going to a University and riding that. It only works best if one is an actual student and not a poser. The only way around that is to be as good as Neena Beena. Her skills on the longboard are great. She can dance, do figure 8 steps, do a 180 ground flip, jump up and spin around 180 degrees.
The electric longboard can kknd of run on neutral. It's heavier and has gears so there is some resistance.
Breaking on a longboard using the built in brake seems like cheating.
The electric longboard can be used to learn to carve and slide. Or not.
I hope it isn't raining tomorrow.
It usually doesn't rain so murphy's law. It rains when I'm using the longboard.
The smaller Meepo electric skateboard sells for $900. Strange the longboard sells for less.

Protracted embedded anagram:

ArriveCan App could be Trudeau's waterloo. Or not.
Lots of Canadian Prime Ministers had some kind of scandal just before leaving Office.
PM Brian Mulroney - Airbus Air Canada.
PM Jean Chretien - Ad Scam
PM Paul Martin - Gomery Inquiry
PM Stephen Harper - Robocalls
PM Justin Trudeau - ArriveCan?
The News said that GC Strategies received an initial $9 million and eventually a total of around $250 million in government contracts. Trudeau already survived the $900 million WE charity scandal so a $250 million shortfall would be a cinch at this point.
I'm worried for Trudeau. I am a fan of PM Justin Trudeau. I think he's a great Prime Minister.

I hope that I can travel one day. For some reason, I think I might not be able to especially if I get a criminal record.
Lots of people in Canada have some kind of criminal record. Usually drug dealers. This means that they can't travel overseas.
The Kingsman. The Statesman. All that is over if one can travel overseas. One can always be a Kingsman and a Statesman in spirit. Those who are Kingsmen and Statesmen in spirit are more so than those who go there and the whole time their mind is on something else mostly thinking how nice it would be when this is all over and I can be back in my home again.
I want to see Buckingham Palace. I had a dream about Buckingham Palace that was over the roof. That was the day I had a seizure. I'm not epileptic but I did have a seizure. One doesn't have to be epileptic also referred to as Julius Caesar falling down disease to have a seizure. Julius Seizure.
Its true what the textbooks say that when one has a seizure, they often see a heavenly vision. I think it's because for a fraction of a second, a person is actually brain dead but not heart dead. There's no other way they could see heaven. But then they come back again.
If I can't travel to England I have to wonder if it isn't too difficult to travel there. Anything that's too difficult isn't worth doing at all. First, travel from Victoria to Vancouver on the bus if the plane takes off from YVR. Then Vancouver to Toronto, Toronto to Halifax, Halifax to Heathrow. First, cross the entire continent of North America then cross an ocean too. That's a heck of a slog. And then do it all over again coming back. Hurry up and wait. Wait wait wait. Pay pay pay. Going to England is $$$ all the way. Food at airports, hotel in London, eat in London, I don't drink but if one doesn't have a beer while in England, one simply isn't doing it right.
I wonder if I'll have the guts to go to Hyde Park and make a speech. I'm wanting to do that, sort of. My aim is still to be 100% sane and normal. If I make a speech at Hyde Park then people will think I'm crazy and I don't want that. So I'm thinking it over.

My speech will be something like,
"Einstein said that the passage of time is an illusion. Everything is happening at the same time.
I wondered what that meant for the longest time. Then one day after hearing Delores Cannon say that she talked to Nostradamus not through time travel but in real time, "I was in my time and he was in his time. I'm starting to understand how this time travel thing works."
That made my mind think that time travel is time experienced on an objective level.
The way we experience time is time experienced on a subjective level.
Time is an algorithm, a dynamic, a modality.
There is a saying in Asia," People say time passes by. Time says that people pass by."
Some took mes the objective and subjective experience of time cancel each other out as a time trzvel trip to the future done yesterday is a past event. An upcoming time trzvel trip to the past is a future event.
And there is time dilation."
That's it. That's my speech. Hyde Park says that you are allowed to bring any printed material as long as you do not have more than one copy and that it doesn't contravene illegal speech laws such as hate, slander, threats and criminal incitement etc
The internet is the new Hyde Park. Hyde Park was cutting edge in the 1800s when there were barely any newspapers. The internet is Hyde Park on mega steroids.
It isn't science without proof, evidence.
A scientific log is objective, materials, procedure, observations, and then outcome and the outcome has to be 100% on all trials otherwise it isn't science. If something is impossible, it isn't science. Time travel is impossible.
So my theory is just a theoretical mathematical algorithm of how all things could be happening at the same time as Einstein said and not stated scientific properties of anything tangible.
They'll definitely think I'm crazy if I say something like that at Hyde Park. I think I'm crazy for saying something like that anywhere!

Point Break. The original movie was with Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze. The movie was about two FBI agents of of which whom was also a surfer. How cool is that? They were trying to apprehend four serial bank robbers one wearing a Nixon mask, one wearing a Reagan mask, one wearing annLBJ mask and one wearing a Kennedy mask.
I had a dream two weeks ago about Reagan. He appeared as a 2-D plastic cut out against the counter of a 50s style diner. He was 50s Reagan wearing a tan and brown cowboy shirt. The shirt was mostly tan but the shoulder patches and lasso design stitched on the shirt was dark brown. He was young, no wrinkles and dark brown hair with not one grey hair. He was smiling a dimpled smile. He was saying something like, "Stay tough."
The undercover cops had the essential California spirit. Go in the early morning to the beach with a surfboard or at least a longboard and shred and surf.
Two days ago after going longboarding for half an hour at the beach walkway, afterwards, when I was walking, I looked to the side. People seemed to be moving slower in a way I've never seen before. I got a taste of the California spirit. The people seemed like they were in a mirage.
There is a remake of Point Break which is a worthy successor. Edgar Ramirez who is in the TV series Dr Death was in that movie.
Drink a cup of coca leaf tea, smoke some cannabis, drink some coffee and watch the two versions of Point Break.
"They only live to get radical. They don't have any real understanding of the sea so they'll never get the spiritual side of it." Bodhi, Point Break
I have to say right here and now that I doubt I'll ever be able to do anything Rodney Mullen related on my skateboard. I'm a grandfather aged man who is learning a sport at this stage in life. If I can get from point A to B and be able to stop, I'd be happy. Never go too fast that I can't stop safely so the slow longboarding express will be my way for the first couple of years.
Did surfing originate in California or in Hawaii?
Oh yeah, the Meepo V5 longboard with all fees will be about $580 from an initial retail price of $419. See, that's pricey. If I was rich I could afford that. I'll have to seriously mull it over. Never get big ticket items on impulse. Ever. Always think about it for a few days and reject at least 50% of all possibilities. Think of the hidden disadvantages.
Fees - retail price, applicable taxes, shipping, store handling fee because I'd be getting it from an outlet = $580.
I could get a BMW for that price. No, just joking.

On the News, it said that someone in Manitoba did in 5 people. He did in 3 children and two adult females. That person will be in a lot of trouble to the level most people will never see in their lifetime.
Someone named Lisa Batstone was killed. Her crime was doing in a child. Her own child. She was probably totally unrepentant and said something that rubbed someone the wrong way and got done in.
Three children were killed in this horrific incident.
This guy is a Satanic beast.

The News is also taking about a Police story involving a major drug bust with seized goods valued at $30 million and how one of the Officers involved was under investigation at the time of the drug bust creating a technicality that resulted in the case collapsing and in the release of the culprits.
$30 million is a big drug bust for a small town of this size.
The News is an entity that delivers information to a non selective demographic. Even invalids at the hospital watch the News.
"The medium is the message." Marshall MacLuhan
This is an internal Police matter and I don't think the public needs to know this except to stand by the Police department. Things happen. Short term events does not affect the long term strength and solidarity of the Police department.
This is something only those in government especially the justice and court system should know about since the courts have to process this case.
The Police will get those culprits again somewhere down the line. $30 million is a big amount. Chances are, they are seasoned drug dealers and will deal drugs again. Hopefully not for their sake.
The Policeman in question said, "I'm just a scapegoat to cover up for other mistakes made during the investigation."* Again, TMI too much information.
Meanwhile, the television audience is wondering, "What mistakes? What investigation? We didn't know anything about that."

The News said that someone named Matthew McKnight is being released on parole in Vancouver. He is certainly no knight. He went to nightclubs and administered gamma hydroxybutyric acid aka GHB and violated them.
Any man who does that to a woman should be executed.
To make a woman pregnant or even to inflict her with the fear of that is to give another person an unwanted medical condition especially in this age of health anxiety and of Googling symptoms.
Perhaps the lady had plans to never get pregnant in life. Perhaps she is a WGTOW woman going their own way.
If the violation results in the woman dying in childbirth, unquestionably he should be executed.
It is not up to me at all to decide what happens to such individuals. It is the Justice Systems job. They have infinite wisdom unlike yours truly.
In Canada, things get handled.
Hopefully none of those women got pregnant. If that's the case, he should then be scared with the fear of God and he should never do that ever again.

"This is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it." King David

Today I went longboarding. Like the Grand old Duke of York, I walked up and down the hill and did it 4 times.
A word came to my mind I haven't thought of in years. Lentement. That means slowly in French. I have to ride the longboard slowly. It's the tai chi approach to learning longboarding. Also I skate in increments. I go a certain distance and stop. If it was a 1,000 metre distance, I have to stop every 100 metres. This helps develop my stopping skills. Lots of longboarders don't know how to do a carving stop with the puck gloves on the ground. It's a variation of the Scouts run 10 walk 10.
I know it looks retarded. I don't care. I'm a grandfather aged man learning something. It would look as retarded as my grandmother picking up an electric guitar and attempting to do a guitar solo.
I stop every bit of a distance. It'd be nice to do a 17 minute non stop shred at 70 mph like Chase Hiller. That takes a lot of nerve. The brain likes to have a five second half sleep every two minutes.
Staying alert, focused is the way to do it.

I bit the bullet and ordered an electric longboard. The Meepo V5. There is a meepo v5 mini which is an e skateboard.
The e longboard to me looks refreshing and new school. It has the spirit of eternal pristine heavenly youth.
The e skateboard has early 80s vibes and the edgy scuzzy version of early 80s vibes, inner city, smooth pavement gardens for skateboarding, graffiti, large brick walls painted white, smoking weed and crack cocaine, very edgy. And it retails for $900 plus all applicable extras such as taxes, shipping, environmental fee, depot handling fee. Are taxes calculated before or after the shipping fees? The answer is "yes". Either way I have to pay the final fee.
I'll only live once. Who knows how many years I have left. Getting it earlier would mean a few extra days in my life to have it but life doesn't work that way. Strange twists and turns of events, sudden decisions could result in the lengthening or shortening of one's life. So that isn't really an argument.
I hope no one tries to swipe my electric skateboard but like cars, electric longboards depreciate 50% just rolling out of the dealerships driveway.
Stores have overhead, advertising costs, presentation so the price is more. Private sellers could never sell it for more unless it is certain items. Things like real estate, paintings of well known painters like Picasso, exclusive models of cars that are well cared for etc.
An electric longboard wouldn't be one of those things.

With cars you need a license and purchasing a car is only the first and cheapest cost. Then insurance, gas, annual tune up, repairs, Bose car stereo, etc.
With a longboard, no license, no gas. As for insurance, it's your choice but it's not compulsory.
My elongboard would be with me in my room at all times when I'm not using it. A car is parked on the street and worried about. If I got a BMW then I think that someone might try to swipe it. But whoever did that would get busted.
That's my brain painting imaginary pictures.
I see my pushing off and stopping skills going out the window with an electric longboard.

I can use one board one day and the electric one another day.
I won't get an electric scooter. You need to use both hands on the handlebar. I hate using 2 hands on the handlebar it looks and feels retarded. I learned using the scooter with one hand within a week of first using a scooter in 2002.
The person who sold me my first scooter for $5 was an angel.
He was a meth user who eventually died of a meth overdose. But he was a very gentle and very sweet person.
He used to say that he can stay high for three days on just $10 worth of meth.
In the last weeks before he died, he had an awful haircut. A Frankenstein bowl cut.
He had heart surgery and he showed me the scar. He was advised that smoking more meth could result in a fatal heart arrhythmia. Guess what? He smoked more meth and then died.
Smoking meth after heart surgery is like going horseback riding after having a vasectomy. Not the smartest thing in the world to do.
Then I had a dream where I saw him. The dream was vivid. In the dream, the hotel we lived in was freshly painted. Light of a bright Spring morning streamed through the windows.
Then I saw my dead friend. He looked young and had a perfect feathered haircut like he stepped out of a Hollywood salon. He said he had an appointment the next morning. He asked me for a cigarette. There was a pack of cigarettes sitting on a bed in the next room.
Then, the hood on the Mexican poncho he usually wears went on and off his head without him using his hands to do it. On then off then on again. When the hoodie was off of his head, he smiled a wide smile. Hoodie over the head means dead. The ability to put on and take off the hood without using hands is the physics of the afterlife dimension.
If I didn't meet this person, who knows how much later if ever I would have picked up a scooter.

Perhaps you can say a prayer or send a wish for my mental issues to go away completely. I think I might need to see a psychiatrist. My issue is that I look at porn. Granny porn AI and I download image a lot of images. A lot. Does that mean that I'm mental? I would either say that to a shrink or a confessional Catholic Priest. I'm opting for the court of general public opinion.
A psychiatrist would say that sexuality is a funny thing. Different strokes for different folks. Masturbation is different than love that leads to sex. Men look at all kinds of porn and use a few of hundreds of possible search terms. Women use dildos. They're not going to marry a dildo. Yet there they are being USED. Dildos are all kinds of strange shapes. Holy smokes, that's a vagina, not a Play-doh set!

Do electric longboards run on a neutral setting without the battery being used? I shall find out soon enough.
I lucked out. Meepo V5s are now sold out on Amazon Canada. They were in there for the longest time. They'll have more soon enough.
Like iphones, Meepo will do future iterations. V6, which is like a car engine, V7, V8 which is like the vegetable drink, V9, V10, V11 etc. etc. Hopefully each iteration is an improvement. Meepo is a quality brand like Arbor. But one day as technology gets cheaper and there is competition, there will be cheaper and better electric longboard sold in the future.
The Meepo V5 has a whisper quiet motor. It sounds just like a normal longboard.
I won't say that I can't wait to get it. My Arbor Axis 37 is a beautiful longboard and every day with it is like a day in heaven. My other skateboard is nice too.

Vancouver is too crowded to ride an electric longboard unless it is at 5 in the morning. Perhaps in the off season when it's still sunny.
Victoria BC has Dallas Road which usually isn't that crowded especially early in the morning. Afternoons are busy.

Today I went and got a helmet. After going to a couple of thrift stores, where in one thrift store a female employee said it was a safety issue. If a person using a used helmet injures themself, they could sue the store.
I went to Chinatown and there was a bakery called Rosa bakery. I wasn't going to get anything but then I saw the French bread pudding which reminded me of Le Meridien hotel.
Then I went to sport check and got the least expensive but effective new helmet.
A person looks stupider not wearing a helmet skateboarding. A few dollars is a small price to pay to protect the head and not be a vegetable sipping out of a straw.
I also got some clip on earbuds because I can't wear over the head headphones over a helmet. Clip on ear buds won't fall even if you're doing a backflip.
Helmet $30. JVC clip on Ear buds $20. Not outrageously pricey. These are necessary items for skateboarding.
I did a tuck on the longboard on Monday, going faster than I ever went. I was kind of scared of wiping out at any given second. I was hoping my feet were secure enough. An East Indian guy walking with two Indian ladies were looking at me. The guy had a stern look. The East Indian ladies probably sussed me as someone from a lower caste. They had a very stoic look. Or perhaps not. I have a rock star reputation.
The guy looked stoic as if to say, "You should be wearing a helmet. You're in a dangerous situation, don't wipe out."
A few seconds later, the skateboard was slowing down and I was able to make a foot stop no problem. East Indians are magical. Those East Indians could have been angels in disguise. I didn't wipe out.
A bike helmet is good enough for skateboarding. It should be. Bikes usually go faster and people fall from a higher height on bikes than on skateboards.
Never go skateboarding without a helmet.

News. The Meepo V5 on Amazon. ca was already sold out even while listed. I'm not going for an electric skateboard for Meepo Mini V5 $900 on Amazon.
The only other choice is a refurbished one off of ebay or else go direct to the manufacturer in China.
No refunds on refurbished one on eBay. The other option is direct from the manufacturer but it could take up to two months and warranties, and refunds and exchanges are really difficult to get.
I have to wait until the Meepo V5 is listed on amazon again.
A small ratty shaped grunge shaped skateboard isn't worth 900. The electric longboard is worth the $400 as longboard can have a new school, bourgeois University look. I was going to write yuppie look but a real yuppie would have a BMW or a Mercedes, not an electric longboard.
My landlord said that when he orders something and it isn't available, maybe the good lord doesn't want me to have it yet. Learning for awhile on a regular longboard can only help. For goodness sake, I just got my Arbor longboard for $200. I have to use that.
When you get something new, that's less time of using the old things you already have.

No electric longboard. For awhile. What a backwater planet. Not available even on Amazon? I hope Meepo sells more elongboards on Amazon. Don't they want money or what?! The Meepo factory is in Shenzhen.
In the Chinese family that I grew up with, I was introduced to my grandmothers sister and her husband. They were old. Very old. I was introduced to them as Yeepo and Yeegoong. Yeegoong died in 1978 at the age of what, 100? He was quite old. He had a certain look. And dark round glasses. The other month, a few months ago, I saw an old lady at a supermarket who looked like she could have been yeegoong's twin sister. She really looked like him even though she was white. Same shaped face, same stoic look on the face and same dark round glasses. She gave a thumbs up sign to someone in the store, I saw that. I see that as a sign that Yeegoong is saying hi and watches over me from time to time.
The name Meepo reminds me of Yeepo.
They were old old old. They were as old as Methuselah. I never met anyone so old but that was because I was around age 5 to age 8 when I visited them.
Yeepo is a commonly used Chinese title which means grandmothers sister. I never found out her actual name. Oh well, that's life.
I have another story. It was at Yeepo's place that I first remember seeing US President Jimmy Carter on television. It was the first President I remember seeing on television. The television said that he lived at the White House. Yeepo lived at a green house so from then on, I privately in my mind referred to her house as The Green House as opposed to The White House where President Jimmy Carter was.
I last saw Yeepo in 1988. She was really getting on. I doubt she's still around. Well duh! I will always wish her the best in the afterlife. She was a very gentle lady.

2:55 pm as I write this. I feel fear. Low key fear. Just existential worries. Time is precious. This time will not come again. It is best to enjoy the time rather than spend it worrying about what probably won't happen. If it happens, you'll get through it. If you have faith, God will give you the grace to go through whatever, from the pit to the palace.

This morning I went to ask about a Meepo electric cruiser style skateboard on ebay. The depot where I go to advised me that refurbished is not a good idea. Refurbished means broken and repaired but issues may persist. It would have cost $128 plus $216 for shipping. It has to be shipped overland because lithium ion batteries have a good risk of exploding while up in the air.
I don't want an electric cruiser skateboard. I need an electric longboard like Captain America needs a shield. A gun, a stick, a hammer, won't do it. It has to be a shield.
Marty McFly had a cruiser style skateboard. Bart Simpson too.
Eevee's shop in Vancouver on Pender off Main sells a Meepo electric cruiser skateboard for $559. Presumably before taxes which would be about  an additional $67.10.
If I bought that, I would still have an electric longboard sized hole in my heart. Why the heck doesn't Meepo keep making the V5 since its so popular.
There's something superstitious about this. I'll want something for a period of time. Later on, it will be very plentiful and cheap. I once wanted lightsabers. Original loghtsabers were hard to find and expensive. Those $65 lightsabers that had only one colour and the led effect wasn't good. Then one day, for about $125 each plus taxes and shipping, I got lightsabers that do 16 colors, some of the colors are different shades of colors that are already there. Dark blue, light blue, etc.
One day, there will be lots of companies competing with Meepo to make cheaper and better electronic longboard.
If I applied for a business license, I could own an electric skateboard shop. The shop would also sell EUC electric unicycles, and electric scooters. Customers usually sign a legal waiver when getting EVs because there is a potential for a lawsuit if someone falls off of an electric skateboard. One skates at their own risk and the company assumes no liability for accidents and incompetence.
$419 for an electric longboard is reasonable. $559 for an electric cruiser skateboard is unacceptable to me and would not quench the electric longboard thirst I have in my spirit.
Disadvantages of electric longboards. Think about it. Think of how long a Blu Ray player lasts or even a car. If run often, anything with moving parts assumes wear and tear.
One can have a regular longboard and 20 years later, it works just as good as new.
An electric longboard has an expected life of 2 to 5 years at best. No way would it work just as good 20 years later.
An electric longboard can't run backwards as well as it can forwards like a regular longboard. The temptation is to jump off with the front foot on the ground, Use the back foot and swing the skateboard around 180 degrees and then jump on resulting in a switch position. It's a variation of the no comply and it would take a month to get it in one fluid motion. Well this can't be done on an electric longboard.

I went to see an IMAX movie about blue whales. Blue whales are very large. They are shaped like a pintail longboard with pectoral and tail fins. A blue whale has no dorsal or top fin. A whale is a mammal. The largest creature in world's history is a mammal and not reptiles which dinosaurs were.

Then I went to a skateboard shop. A shoe called Supra Hammer was on sale for $25. Other skateboard shoes were selling for $60 and up. The store clerk advised me that I'd be better off wearing normal shoes for longboarding and that the Supra Hammer on sale was less of a skateboard shoe than all the others. The cloth covering was thin and won't protect the top corner of the foot when doing an Ollie like canvas skateboard shoes would.

I saw Heather on the street today. I loved seeing her. We went to Chinatown. I love her so much. I'll always be glad I met her and wouldn't trade the years I spent with her for anything. I have some sweet memories with her that I will never forget.

I picked up some hash. I'm spiralling out of control. Maybe your thoughts can push me to quit hash. It takes a toll on the pocketbook.
Then I went to get groceries. A 2 litre bottle of root beer, 2 sushi triangles and a package of miso soup.

"What are you saving yourself to be? Jewish?" Platoon
What am I saving my money for? I have some harebrained notion that I must go to England. That's on the bucket list. Even if I have some money, let's say around $5,000 I should go to England. But would that be enough? Even a dreary hostel full of loud drunken hippies is about $150 a night. A good hotel is $1,000 a night. Very expensive and lots of intensity and hassle as one crosses Canada and then the Atlantic Ocean. Nope, no intensity there. That would be crazy.
If I ever get a million dollars, the Egyptian pyramids and sites of Jesus life in Israel is also on the bucket list.
Travelling is a hassle. Don't go to countries where English isn't the first language and where you don't have some basic grasp of the language. The locals will respect you more and your trip will be considerably easier.
Foreign countries are full of touts at the airport especially the taxi touts. Avoid them and use the bus or Skytrain if available. Research the bus you need to take. Google maps. Name of city. Airport to hotel. Directions. Bus.
When travelling try to look as poor as possible. I did that. I was in Thailand which is a third world country. Or is it? Anyways, I wore a tshirt and carried plastic bags with me every where I went. Then it occurred to me that the locals have a different ethic when it comes to money and many have socked away small fortunes. While those in the West go into debt to keep up appearances. It's a means to an ends. Who cares if you can get the lifestyle. I might pay the credit cards off afterwards or not. I can also file a Chapter 11. Bankruptcy. That's the Western mentality.
This is why I want to save money. If I'm broke then I'll die of starvation although I have been broke a lot of times in my life and still survived.
A blue whale eats the caloric equivalent of eighty thousand hamburgers every day. God provides for the blue whale which never has food anxiety about the future or what if the food runs out. God said he would provide for all humans. How there is always enough krill available is a mystery. All kills ever do is breed. It's a krill ponderosa. Don't say ponderosa. The oceans are teeming with it. Krill reminds me of manna from the Bible.

The other day in Chinatown, I got some black mouse ear fungus, and then something that looks like dried yellow blades of grass, dried tiger lily. Add some black Chinese shiitake  mushrooms and some chicken. Eyeball it and throw all those ingredients in a rice pot. When all that is fully cooked, add some soy sauce. It's an acquired taste. That recipe is different.

God isn't an animal or biological but he's the science behind the science of all biological life. An alien is an animal or biological. When humans see an alien it is like a farm animal seeing a human and thinking, "That is an animal just like us but its a very smart animal."
In a Lego Universe, God would also be a character. But he would be a formless character. He would be a mystical character like the ghosts of Ben Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker are mystical Lego characters.

With all skateboards and scooters, do a tune up. Check that all nuts and bolts are still on tightly. Never let the battery run to zero. Always keep at least a 50% charge.
Electric skateboards are more high maintenance than regular skateboards. Never go faster than you can run. Some electric skateboards go over 10 miles and hour which is how fast a person can run. Roger Bannister ran the 4 minute mile. That's Olympics level running. That's 15 miles an hour. A regular person runs at about 10 miles an hour top speed. To go fast on a longboard and stop I have to learn to carve stop.
Electric skateboards are higher maintenance than regular skateboards and more expensive too.

First one skirts the skateboard. That's a quick exaggerated carve move. Then do a full slide finding the traction breaks. Don't go too fast or too slow when initiating the carve slide stop. One must have loose trucks to carve stop properly.* *source: Ronnie Sarmiento. YouTube

I hope that one day, Walmart or Canadian Tire or Sport Check sells electric longboard good and cheap.
Fast, cheap, and quality, you can have any two but not all three.
There has to be some compromise, cheap but still kid of good would be  Canadian Tire electric skateboard. I don't know if Walmart would ever do a good electric skateboard if there regular skateboards are any indicator. So Sport Check or Canadian Tire.
At one time, Kuradori induction cooktop and computer tablets weren't sold at Canadian Tire then one day they were. I hope one day this applies to electric skateboards.
Canadian Tire World Industries skateboards is a reputable brand name.
Walmart Madd Gear skateboards are not.

Walmart does sell electric longboard and electric scooters too. The thing is, I saw a longboard and an electric scooter which I really want. This electric scooter I can steer with one hand because it has a foot brake.
I went to Walmart this evening using a bus pass good for today that I found this evening. It was pinned to a wall in my hotel. Residents will leave a bus pass for others to use.
I used that and went to Walmart. It was 9pm when I got there. Go on a night adventure. Why not? I rarely go on night adventures but I do once in awhile for a change of pace. It makes movies more relevant because movies are about people going on adventures.
The Walmart customer service counter was indeed open as ever. The kind professional gentleman who worked there told me that I needed to set up an account with Walmart first. He wouldn't just collect my name, address, etc because of security reasons.
Now I'm scared to set up a Walmart account.
Why?
I don't like leaving my email address. Email addresses are bought en masse by scammers or more likely marketing spammers. Also emails are obtained in breach dumps.
Additionally, I'm scared of doing any financial transactions using a computer although I did it tons of times in Dawson Creek and this was before the advent of block chains used as additional encryption. Scammers might detect financial activity or use keystroke recorders to get credit card into.
However lots of people use computers to purchase items. I'd worry about purchasing really big ticket items like a Mercedes or real estate using the internet. Use your brain. Would you trust a computer with such a large amount of money?
My neighbour used Etsy to purchase some golden boxing gloves and the transaction worked. He used his debit card. No rip offs.
Should I be scared to set up an account and purchase from Walmart off the computer? I hope that life gives me a sign.
I'm scared if I don't get this soon, it will be sold out.
I'm sure Walmart will keep restocking electric longboards forever.

Sunday, February 25, 2024

I have the heebie jeebies about ordering $600 worth of products online. But I'm the one who has the heebie jeebies about life in general. I want to order an electric longboard, a nice one and an electric scooter I can drive with with one hand.
Longboard, $450 with taxes. Scooter, about $150 with taxes.
I have to make space and find outlets in an already small room with few outlets. I live in a single room rooming house.
The electric scooter will be heavy. No more throwing it in the air and catching and twirling it. If I drop it, it could break. But it would be fun. It has a top speed of 12 miles an hour and a range of 6 miles although it'd be closer to five. I'll give it a try.
I'm going to Walmart with my iPhone that connects to the internet anywhere and have them walk me through the process of setting up and account and getting the items.
Walmart has a return policy. Once it gets on the road and the wheels show wear and tear, there's no refund then.

Walmart opens at 7 am. I have to go to Church tomorrow. Skateboards. Electric longboard. Electric scooter. How fun is that? There's nothing funner. A car is more high status but doesn't have the athletic requirements of a skateboard. Even the most unbalanced person on a skateboard can drive a car.
An electric longboard is even more fun than a lightsaber.

I wish one day this town would open a store that just sells electric vehicles like eevee's in Vancouver. And they should have one model of electric longboard and electric scooter that's affordable to those on a budget.

There are two kinds of carving. One makes you go faster. The other slows you down.

I'm going to try to get the electric longboard and electric scooter. An electric scooter is something I wanted since the year 2000. I was able to ride an electric scooter at a free display area. Fun or what? But they were pricey. $1000 plus. Some electric scooters are still expensive but there are cheaper brands that don't go as fast.

I installed and used a QR reader for the first time today. I QR read the form for activating my new bank card. My bank account got moved to the Royal Bank of Canada. The London funnel.

Speaking of London, I doubt that I would ever actually have it in me to go.
"I can't believe that you showed them the map. Although I doubt that they have it in them to go." Tilda Swinton, The Island
I don't know if I have it in me to cross Canada, cross an ocean, pay a Lordly sum for accommodations and then cross and ocean and cross all of Canada again on the way back. Nope. Nothing intense about that.

Don't travel to any country that you don't want to get busted at. Which is basically all of them including my own. But I have no choice. In existence, one's own country is the default place one is at.
I use the word one a lot. That's British. Very tweedy but there it is.
I would accept getting busted in England or Scotland. Chances are it would be for something minor.
I was told to never talk to the Police if you're busted. That it's the Police's job to use whatever information you tell them to get a conviction. That's their job. That's what I was told.
I saw a YouTube video where Alec Baldwin was having a lengthy conversation with the Police and it was recorded. Perhaps it's a grey area. Good cop bad cop. In some selective details of the case, the Police might say something in a person's defense. Off the record. Who knows.

One wouldn't want to get busted in Israel where the sites of Jesus life are. Or in Egypt where the pyramids are.
In Egypt they might exercise sharia law.
In Quebec, they use the Napoleonic code which is guilty until proven innocent. Je t'accuse.
But even then in Quebec there are people who don't see any time for minor offenses. A YouTube comment said, "Unless a person is half dead and in the hospital for a year, they don't do small cases." paraphrased
I think it takes court's a certain amount of money to process a case and lots of cases are thrown out.

The election in this neighbourhood will be a real nail biter as it will be a local election between two major well known politicians rather than the usual dark horses. Clash of the Titans. Godzilla vs Rodan.
The NDP has had a 45 year hold in this neighbourhood. Yet Sonia Furstenau, leader of the BC Green Party is a formidable politician.
I can imagine a lot of people in this neighbourhood would say, "It's not a nail biter. You answered your own question. The NDP have had a 45 year hold in this neighbourhood. Why would that change?"
Then Sonia Furstenau made a tactical error moving to this neighbourhood.
Grace Lore MLA NDP is the Minister of Families and Child Development. That would be one of the most strenuous portfolios with parents writing to the Minister stories about the medical conditions of their children. That is one which politicians are most prone to retiring from or else moving to a higher portfolio like finance or health.
Health Minister would also be emotionally strenuous as the Minister hears of the health problems of all people, not just families.
Grace Lore seems so sure that she will win that she hasn't bothered to release any ads yet. Whereas Sonia Furstenau already released some ads. I distinctly remember someone saying, "Rudy Giuliani paid $40 million to get his ass kicked in Florida." How much is Sonia Furstenau paying?
The NDP recently had an issue where Muslims didn't go to an NDP event over the Selina Robinson comments fallout. Since the Minister has been fired and those who vandalized her office aren't talked about on the News since the case is before the courts and there is a publication ban, the case should be resolved. The vandals are hoping that they don't get grilled too hard in the courts. I know that feeling! Even if the NDP doesn't get the Muslim vote, even though the only Muslim mosque in town is in this neighborhood, would the shortfall of the Muslim vote disparity make a difference? Probably not. Victoria BC isn't known for its Muslim population. Or else it's I don't know about you, but every time I think of downtown Victoria BC, I'm thinking of Muslims.
Sonia Furstenau is a platinum grade politician. The Provincial election in this neighborhood will be so difficult in terms of who to vote for, it would be like a Sophie's Choice kind of election.
For me the election will be a total nail biter. I'm a worrier.

I wonder if Trump will win the US election. If he does, we're in for quite a show. He will make sure that his second term trumps his first term in terms of legacy.
Trump is very optimistic. If at his age he thinks he can last four more years and doing an intense job as well. Trump was born in 1946. He's almost 80. 70 would be a new level of scary. If I'm 70, I'd be thinking, "Any year now." not "I'm absolutely sure I'll make it four more years and doing an intense job too." But that's with my medical knowledge and level of medical training which is just about none.
My mind paints a picture where Trump will do something with the National Reserve, and escalate the wars in Ukraine and Israel too.
However wins, well have to just accept it.

I remember a lot of weird details about a lot of weird things.

For months if not years, I have had a slight aching pain at my left hip socket connecting to the femur. It is an aching pain when I stretch that leg although most of the time it doesn't hurt and I can still kick with that leg. I think it will be there for life. Its not enough to cause me to limp. Perhaps someone can say a prayer for me regarding this. A prayer from someone of any religion is acceptable.

Vancouver is set to demolish the Expo 86 deck next to Science World due to aging infrastructure. In other words, the City of Vancouver is going to 86 that deck.

I decided not to get an electric scooter. I like to always have one hand free like Cupid.
Riding using only one hand on an electric scooter is too wobbly. My hand wouldn't be centered over the steering column but off to one side of one handle. That's doesn't work in any scooter electric or not. That's not safe to do that and I refuse to ride a scooter using two hands.

Madd Gear skateboards from Walmart is to skateboards what Candle rape decks were to tape decks. You wanted to get a Sony or a JVC tape deck.
I was thinking of getting a Madd Gear pintail from Walmart for $70. It has a California look. I test rode it and the deck tilts a lot for a small skateboard. The wheels seem nice enough. The Walmart Madd Gear pintail does have an overall cheap look to it. It's not a true pintail. The tail is a flat tail.
That being said, if there was ever a drastic price drop, I'd be willing to pay $30 for it.
I might go and ask if I could have a discount. That sometimes works.

I am thinking of visiting the local airport. I never visited. I'd like to see what the first leg of a trip to England might look like. The local airport has a Tim Hortons and a local bakery which sells muffins, scones, carrot cake, want cake etc. That's pre security.
Post security has a pub and a small coffee shop.
Time Hortons isn't that exciting. It is kind of. I thought there was a White Spot there. Pre security.
I'll have to take two buses to get there. And two buses to get back. On the way back, I go through Sidney and then get on another bus.

Monday, February 26, 2024

Fears of this week are imminent.

Otherwise I can't stop thinking of the pintail longboard and I want to get it at a reduced price. I'm going to ask a manager, if not I'll just have to bite the bullet. Is getting another skateboard crazy? Compared to what? Compared to saving up for a trip to England? That's also crazy. It's not crazy compared to spending that money on illicit white powder drugs. That skateboard really reminds me of California but is still want the electric longboard.
This happened before. Last year, I got not one but a few THC vape cartridges. I got not one but a few funko pops. Now I've moved on to skateboards. I hope that I never ever get a million dollars. Otherwise I might get a few used BMWs and other brands too. Audi has a good reputation. The Royal Family uses Audi cars. Tesla is the new high tech computer electric car. It has features although I'm not quite sure what.
"I collect spores, molds and fungus." Ghostbusters
I'm collecting skateboards. Opportunity cost. The more skateboards you have, the less each one will be used, in average. Embarrassment of riches. I first heard that expression from Matt Lauer. Embarrassment of riches means having more than you know what to do with or can manage. Like a seven car garage full of cars.
When I move I'll have to take all my skateboards with me.

I life, I'll take whatever punishment if I genuinely screwed up. I just hope that I don't get grilled too hard.

The 80s song. The Sunset Grill. I hope I don't get grilled.

I've already accepted that I have mental issues and that I'm kind of crazy if not completely crazy. I'm not perfect.

I think I have plantar fasciitis again.

Today I had an amazing day.
Early this morning at 8:47 am, I went on the bus to Walmart. I asked for a discount on the pintail longboard but was turned down. Oh well. Worth a try.
The longboard is nice. Very nice. Madd Gear but still very nice. It would be the equivalent to the top of the line top model Candle tape deck which would still be very good, as nice as a standard model Sony tape deck.
I left Walmart and skated for the first time outside of Suzy store. A security guard happened to be right there on the spot, a young South Asian man. He said that there is no skateboarding allowed. I said, "Oh sorry, I didn't know that." and immediately picked up my new longboard. He said, "No worries."
I heard a few people say that in the last two weeks.
I decided to wait for the 72 bus that would take me to the bus loop that the airport bus connects to. At the loop, I did a no comply onto a curb for the first time.
Then soon the bus took me to the airport.
At the airport I visited the Fickle Fig and also Tim Hortons for coffee and donuts.
The airport is way smaller than the Vancouver airport. But noticeably larger than the Dawson Creek airport. Very modern. I tried to keep it together and to appear as sane as possible aside from my crazy boredom relieving dance moves.
Then I went to Sidney.
In Sidney, I went to the skate park. There were skate tools there. I tightened the trucks on my new skateboard. That made such a difference. I walked in the beach.
Then on the way back I walked to a dock. A seal was there and spent some time with me. It was in the water and stayed with me for awhile at one point even swimming towards me.
Then I walked back towards downtown Sidney. Just outside the skate park, I saw Suzie drive past. She didn't see me. I recognized the car. I could have yelled but that would have seemed undignified. Any conversation with her wouldn't have been that good. She would have tried to convince me to revisit the place where she works, the dreary soup kitchen. It would be more of the same. Wait in line for up to 20 minutes and then when I get in there, it's like, 'you got a minute to say whatever you have to say' usually the most superficial conversations that don't go beyond a grade five vocabulary.
Something like, How are you, fine, and how are you, pretty good. How's things? All right. Have you seen any good movies? I'd answer yeah, this movie. Oooh! Oh I have to go and work in the back kitchen now, See you next week.
Week after week, the same thing.
Rebeca the bookseller on Pawn Stars said, "With these guys it's all business. Can't we sit down and have a cup of coffee?"
Sometimes with people as well as places, it's good to visit once, twice, a few times, but that doesn't now mean you have to visit the place or that person for life. Sting said if you love someone set them free.
I don't want to be convinced to go back to any place that I'm not already going to.
I know when and where she works. I never visit there. I have her phone number. I never call. Any phone call to her followed far enough is her trying to convince me to be back on the hook of visiting the soup kitchen every week for more perfunctory patronizing situations. Nah, whatever. So how worried am I really that I didn't yell Suzie when I saw her drive past? I hesitated a long time mulling over the go nowhere details of the soup kitchen that she works at as she drove right past. I felt shocked when I saw her drive past.
Whatever. More intensity. More edgy situations. I wonder how I'm going to handle the future and the rest of my life.
This would bother someone more if they weren't into anything. I'm into animated cartoons and skateboarding and dance moves and yoga etc.
After that, I went to the Sea World exhibit they have there. The octopus was magnificent, very active. Usually it's quite dormant. Energetic today.
Then I skateboarded at the sea walk for a few minutes. Seawall. Good incline. Not too steep. Nice curvy paths which I skated.
Then I went to a Chinese restaurant. I had house special fried rice. I had such a heaping plate that I had to bring some of it home.
I visited a Toy store but didn't see any large sized kaleidoscopes. I already have one large sized kaleidoscope. If I have two, then I can achieve stereo vision. Imagine seeing the same kaleidoscope simultaneously with both eyes. The only other way to do that is to drop multiple hits of £sd and absolutely no one should be doing that. Life is intense enough as it is.
Then I went to a hardware store and got some clip on earbuds for $3.50. That's cheap enough that I can afford a pair.
Then I went home on the bus.

The board feels really nice. Some tilt but after the trucks were tightened, alot better. I love the skateboard. I think it's a good luck skateboard.
A cashier whom I've often seen, one of many, was the one who checked out my skateboard at the till. Seeing a familiar person ring my skateboard purchase through is another sign that this is a good luck skateboard. And seeing the seal. And the octopus.
Since I recently did a cartoon about a seal, seeing the seal today and how it stayed with me for awhile, that was the hand of God.

Thank you God for the gift of this magnificent day.

That soup kitchen that Suzy works at, the dynamic has changed. Visit some place, in the old days, then in modern times, there's a fence around the site, and there's food trucks and lot of security guards because there's lots of visitors with profound mental health issues. Visiting it now isn't like it used to be.
The soup kitchen. Open for three hours. In the old days, one could show up and sit down and stay for as long as they wanted. Now it's a line up. Pick up a bag lunch and go.
Although it is an essential service, it isn't like it used to be.

The weather said it would rain today. It's been sunny all day but with lots of clouds in the sky.

My right thumb muscle seized up. After drinking a cup of boiled water, its better.

More worries. Not to put too fine of a point on it, I hope that I don't get grilled hard this week.

Colm: "Well I better not be dying in the meantime then eh father. I'll be pure f*cked."
Priest: "You will be pure f*cked. Yes! You will be pure f*cked!!!"
The Banshees of Inisherin

I'm fearful of the week ahead. I hope that I'm not pure f*cked. But I think I might be. Who knows?

I think that I might be crazy. Or not normal. The 100% normal person is the businessman who wears a shirt and tie and a suit. This person does no drugs or tobacco. This person goes to Church regularly and remembers to thank God for all good things in life. This man only loves women who have no more than a five year age difference either way, older or younger. The perfect person never gets arrested.
Getting busted is some kind of initiation into street life. In the movie Goodfellas, the main  character said that after he got released from his first time in prison, his friends threw a party for him. They said, "You broke your cherry.!"
So the perfect person could still get busted and still be a perfect person.
Lots of people who work at The Salvation Army got busted at one point when they were young. They use that experience as Ministry to others who might be going through the same thing. That's how God uses us faults and all.

Tuesday, February 27, 2024

Today I went to the depot to of they could order something online for me from Walmart. They said I had to do it myself.
I was told at Walmart that ordering online is safe.
I then went to the bank.

On another outing I went to 7-11 to get cigarette papers. The thing is, the two stores closest to me ran out of zigzag blue papers. 7-11 is past the Church. On the way back seeing that the Church had an event, I visited. There was a classical music concert from the Ministry of Culture in Poland. It was the Cuore piano trio. 1 piano player, 1 cellist and 1 violinist. The concert went on longer than I expected. Classical music really isn't my bag. The program said four songs but it went on longer. So I left.
I was going to say to them, "You're from Poland? Dzien dobre. Wygladas swietnie. Wystkiego najlepsziego. I'm learning Polish. You are very talented."
Their motto, I noticed, is smaczny zycie. That means delicious life, loosely translated, the sweet lfe, la dolce vita.
Sometimes people from foreign countries like to hear that people know their language. I was the only person there who wasn't White. Ironic it would be if I was the only person who spoke to them in Polish. What little I learned. I think that at this point, a few people in this town and Sidney BC too heard my few attempts to speak other languages. This language, that language.

I'm all skateboarded out. After getting the pintail skateboard, that's it.
Before using electric, one has to be kind of good on regular. I need one or two years on regular before going to electric.

There is a level of exaggerated expectation in skateboarding that there aren't in other sports. To be a skateboarder, you have to perform at circus like levels of difficulty. Ollie, nollie, Tre flip, no comply, cross step, kick flip, so many things.
What am I. Learning to negotiate a new mode of transportation or joining the circus? I'm confused here.
Who cares? Get to whatever level you can  and want to and be happy with that. If you can get from point A to point B and stop safely, that's good enough. Even if you could go slowly and maintain balance, that's more than a lot of people can do. Skateboarding at medium speed, down a hill along the beach, keeping balance and seeing the horizon that is the sea, there's no feeling of freedom like it. Those few seconds of true freedom.
I was thinking that today walking down the street then I saw a sticker on a back window of a car, The Sea Will Set You Free.

The strange thing is, wars and housing bubbles are both bad and good. They are bad for people but good for the economy. The more financial activities there are, the more the economy is stimulated. The more economic activity, the more taxes generated, the more taxes. The more taxes, the more public infrastructure is created and maintained. This prevents a recession.
This is an example of Reagan's trickle down theory of economics which was lifted from John Maynard Keynes.
A rising tide lifts all ships.
Silver linings around dark clouds. It's an ill wind that blows nobody any good.

Pastor Joel Osteen talked about the story of Joseph. Sold into slavery. Meets Potiphar. Is accused by Potiphar wife. Thrown into prison. Meets butler and Baker. Interprets dreams. Interprets pharoahs dreams. Is made the Prime Minister. Each of the previous bad events isolated on their own wouldn't make sense. Linked together, they are a pieces in the jigsaw puzzle of God's plan.

Einstein Medical University in New York has free tuition now. A rich 90 year old lady donated over $1 BN dollars. The students tuition, student loans, now over.
The United States is becoming more like Sweden, Norway, etc in that University there is free.
Pastor Joel Osteen said, you have not seen or imagined the good things that God has in your future.

Indeed when I went to Sidney the last time in December 2023, I would have never imagined that 9 weeks later, I'd be using the skateboard tools at the skate park to tighten the trucks on my pintail longboard.
My girlfriend once said that the future will be better than you imagine.

Everyone cooks, but only small percentage of people are good enough to cook at a restaurant. And only a small percentage of them are good enough to get Michelin stars.
Same with skateboarding for me. Of everyone who can skateboard, only a few can do stunts, tricks, flips etc And of them only a few wind up in Thrasher magazine.
Even with me and the kick scooter. I never learned to do the dollar roll. Who cares?! I'm still riding!
The point is, in a city, how many restaurant level cooks are there? Hundreds. How many in a country? Thousands. In a city how many skateboarders can do the full gamut of Rodney Mullen and Toney Hawk tricks and stunts? Dozens. In a country, how many? Hundreds. That's quite a lot. Enough to give the false impression that all skateboarders can do and is expected to do that. My motto is get to whatever level you're comfortable with. If you have the time and confidence, experience t but never push yourself.
Unlike driving a car. Skateboarding takes skill. It is a mode of transportation and going from point A to point B at any speed without falling off is good enough.

New TV series Shogun.
'The island of Japan was the territory of the Portuguese Catholics. They kept it a secret from their sworn enemies, the Protestants.'
Just like the recipe for five cheese calzone.

Portugal from Port of Gaul.

Hold the skateboard in a way that grip tape does not come into contact with clothing. Otherwise grip tape will destroy clothing. Get a garbage bag to wrap around the skateboard or someone should invent a thick band or wrap around the skateboard about one foot wide.
Grip thumb. After gripping the skateboard all day, my thumb and fingertips were scuffed. Occupational hazards of skateboarding.

I'm scared for tomorrow. I hope I don't get grilled tomorrow. Would it be out of place to go to a Church and say to someone, "I hope that I don't get crucified tomorrow."?

The way to adjust the trucks on the skateboard is to loosen them so that when the skateboard tops to one side with you standing on it, the wheels don't lift off the ground. Then if you are a beginner and don't plan to do turns and want more stability, tighten it a bit. If you're a more experienced skater who wants the added turning ability and can stand the extra tilt, loosen the trucks a bit.

I saw Dune 2 on a free movie site. It was all right. It was slightly better than Dune one. But more or less the same movie.
I'll see it again on IMAX downtown when it's there.

The News said that a young lady named Siphia died because she had some immune disorder, was misdiagnosed, went back a few times, finally correctly diagnosed, was made to wait too long, and finally did of sepsis. She had a bright future. She still has a bright future in the afterlife.
Final prognosis: Death by medical gas lighting.
Anyways, the News likes to tell stories of mistakes and failings of the medical industry. Police department too.
What about all the times they got things right? Times when people were completely free of even cancer thanks to the medical industry or times when a real bad guy was taken off the streets thanks to the intervention of the Police.
"You always talk about the time I went to school wearing a dress. What about all the times I went to school not wearing a dress? Why don't you talk about those times?" Milhous, The Simpsons

The News said that the Vancouver Police arrested someone with $60K in cash on a stolen ebike. My deluded monkey mind has me think that on some cosmic level, the Police of Vancouver, my old town, is encouraging me to go ahead and get an electric longboard.
$60K means $600 the approximate total price of the electric longboard.
And ebike is a reference to longboard which is available on Amazon. Again!
I'm getting it.

The News said that the Victoria Police says that gang recruitment is up in local schools. The former Police liason program which had been rescinded is urged from parents to be reinstated.
The schools cut the program because Black and Native students don't feel comfortable around Police.
What about hire Black and Native Police liason officers? North of 60 had a female RCMP Officer Tina Keeper. In real life she became an MP, not military police, member of Parliament. Corner Gas had a Native RCMP Officer Davis Quinton, actor Lorne Cardinal.
And some cities have a person who is Black or Native as the Police chief. Houston Texas, Pastor Joel Osteen, the Police Chief in Houston Texas is Black.
The schools should have not one but two minimum liason Police Officers at every school.
Anyways did you ever watch 21 Jump Street? Schools have UCs posing as students and female undercover Officers are really difficult to spot. Indeed at my age undercover  Police Officers appear as a University athletic team.
See, Victoria is a town that is semper sursum meaning ever upwards which was the motto at my school where Constable Rick Schaaf was the lisaon police officer. Anyways, Victoria is a growing city. The central pile of money grows ever larger and larger. Gangs go where the gelt is. I can see that increasing gang recruitment in this town is an issue of worry for the Police. Gangs, human trafficking too. The Police totally got to be there!
Gangsters drive flashier cars and get it on with more and better women than the average civilian. But they get busted more often, do longer time in prisons especially if they did one person  or a few people in and the prison population is overcrowded with guess what? There are lots of gangsters in every big and small town in BC and they often get busted for some form of grand larceny, doing other gangsters in, drug trafficking, gun running etc.
In criminology, gangsters are another level of criminality apart from the civilian. Gangsters are organized crime whereas civilians are disorganized crime. If you go, bring a Police Officer with you. If anything happens his death will be investigated more than a normal person. A gangster is as different from a normal person as a Poloce Officer is. They are on opposite sides of the spectrum. Prisons are reserved for those who attained another level of criminality.
A gang recruitment ad showed White people. In reality, gangs are mainly South Asian gangs just like in the Lower Mainland. Sure there are Chinese and Vietnamese and United Nations gangs but they work under the South Asian gangs. But the South Asian gangs run under the Hells Angel's which is higher up in the Canadian gang hierarchy.

I'm using South Asian instead of East Indian from now on. East Indian is an 80s term back when White Supremacy was more the coin of the realm than it is now. There is still that but not like in the 80s. East Indians prefer to be referred to as South Asians or desi.

At my high school, the school liason Officer was Vancouver Police Constable Rick Schaaf. At my school he summoned me to his 'office'. Someone at school pretending to be me was making pranks calls to girls pretending to be me. It was just a heads up. Police can trace calls so they knew where the calls were coming from. He was very stern and kept me waiting in his office for a long time. He also reminded me that nunchucks are illegal.
A few years later, I was a drug addict, the only drug being cannabis. I was walking in the alley behind the Army and Navy store and Rick Schaaf was driving up in a Police car.
He was with another Officer. We recognized each other.
"Hello, Officer."
"Are you working?"
"I'm currently unemployed, Sir."
"Stay strong."
A Police Officer telling you to stay strong years later is a reason why the schools should have at least one liason Police Officers.
Some schools are larger. Van Tech has two thousand students while some schools have half the student population. Larger schools should have more liason Police Officers, say one liason Police Officer for every 500 students to ensure a proper work life balance for the liason Police Officers.

Some people complain that there are too many Police patrols. Some people complain that there aren't enough Police patrols.

One other thing. Order has been placed for my new Meepo brand electric longboard from Amazon.

There is a Cactus Club in Coquitlam where there was a gang land shooting a few days ago. Another gangland shooting. What were the chances of that?
The Cactus Club initially refused to give up the surveillance video without a warrant. The Police got the warrant. Warrants are scary. Especially if you're trying to be the perfect Christian. When Jesus was arrested at the Garden of Gethsemane, there was a warrant for his arrest. So perhaps after all a warrant doesn't make you less of a Christian.
Why would Cactus Club refuse the give over the video? I'm guessing that the Cactus Club doesn't want to be held liable for any lack of actions to prevent the situation. What lack of action? It was a gang land shooting. What could they do?

I made my usual donation to a Catholic Church today. I could sure use Catholic blessings for the week ahead. Catholic blessings are very powerful.

The justice system uses a lot of Latin terms. Caveat emptor, habeus corpus, mens rea, mea culpa, non compus mentis, in camera, etc
In any event, Catholic blessings are very powerful.

What kind of conditions are Israeli hostages held in? Non professional, non Police conditions. No doubt some locals have deputized themselves and appointed themself as the new local sheriffs holding the hostages. Would that be even up to ISO international standards? Doubtful. Would they care? Again, doubtful.
Without dispatching a covert team of Mossad hitmen to Qatar and cutting off the head of the snake, taking out the Leadership, the Gaza Offensive is just a preambulation and accomplishes nothing in their stated objective of taking out Hamas. Terminate the chain of command.
"Terminate. With extreme prejudice." Apocalypse Now
More or less Prime Minister Golda Meir dispatched a team of Mossad hitmen to different cities to look for the terrorist behind the Black September attack on the Olympic athletes.
The athletes were tracked down and disposed of in different cities, Germany, Spain, Tel-Aviv Israel, Dubai, etc. More or less because there is bureaucracy, protocol, buffers, denial of missions, plausible deniability etc.
That was the plot of the movie Munich. Would Netanyahu do likewise and send a team to look for the Leaders of Hamas?

Welfare always winds up being four weeks and five weeks. Never four weeks and a day or five weeks and a day despite leap years. How is that so?
People working on salary don't get paid an extra day in February on leap years. People on welfare don't get for paid that extra day either. That's life.

I learned how to stop using a longboard glove today. In the hallway, I ride my Walmart longboard. Riding regular rather than goofy, with a glove on my right hand with a flattened pop can taped to it, I crouched down with my left hand on the front of the board and my right hand on the ground. Going straight, not sliding or carving. I did it. Don't put fingers on the ground.
I ride regular rather than goofy. If you shoot left in hockey, regular is the way for you. Riding switch is essential to learning skateboarding.

Today I went to Church to talk to a friend. Then I went to get some chicken for my chicken and mouse ear fungus tiger Lily mushroom rice.

On the way back I saw a friend, Ted Smith. He wished me well.

My electric longboard can run on neutral. Meepo is a brand name. Thank heavens that I hesitated on using the internet to order the Walmart Hyper Bicycles brand electric longboard. Hyper Bicycles. Wtf is that?! Would that be like the walky music brand to the Sony Walkman? Meepo is a name brand just like Backfire which is another good brand.
I found out about the EL on Friday, that one is sold at Walmart. I went to the store to ask if they could order one for me and I pay. No. I went and asked again. They said I had to set up a Walmart account myself on the computer. I hesitated due to fear. Good thing I did. Had I rushed to order it, I would have never ordered the better one off amazon.
What prompted me was a YouTube video suggestion about an electric scooter bought on Amazon. The guy in the video talked about the EL he got on Amazon. This could be a sign, it was the way he said it, so insisting. I checked on Amazon and it was available on order again.
The last time I ordered it and it wasn't available was a few days ago the timing of it was that a few days ago, a young member of the BRF died at age 47. That sent a negative ripple effect that affects many things. It was a death omen.
I don't know how he died. Perhaps a coronary event.

Meepo = BMW of electric longboards
Hyper Bicycles = the Lada of electric longboard.

PM Brian Mulroney died. I'm gutted. He was a major figure during my formative years. Although not a rock star, a politician is so inspiring that a much loved politicians death can bring tears.
PM Mulroney was a much loved elder statesman. I never had the honour to meet PM Mulroney but I did shake hands with his finance minister Don Mazinkowski who I met and shook hands with at the Southwest corner of Robson and Thrulough in the summer of 1988.
"Don Mazinkowski! What an honour!"
I shook hand with him and he said, "Best of luck!"
PM Mulroney represents the best of the 80s. Yuppie clothing, BMW 325i, wonton noodles, that was the best of the 80s for me.
Brian Mroney, elected PM in '84, died st 84.

Today I went skateboarding at Dallas Road with my new Walmart longboard. I went to the Beacon Drive In.
At Dallas Road, I saw my friend from Church. We walked around for awhile and on the Ogden Point breakwater, me and my friend saw politician Carole James NDP. This was an auspicious event, seeing a politician on the street on the day that Brian Mulroney died.
We then went to a Seafood restaurant. Nothing fancy, fast food seafood restaurant near Fisherman's Wharf.

I am afraid of the future. I hope that I'm not doomed.
Romans 8: 38 - 39. Nothing can separate us from the love of God.

Today, I relented and got the knobby wheels that go with the Meepo V5.
