I got Hubris VR for free! I was thinking of paying for it, but got it for free. It had been on sale yesterday, $8 from $35.
I also got Action Hero and CounterOps for free, all VR apps.

I am proud to be a Canadian and optimistic.
Airtight reasons: Canada speaks English and is linked to the British Crown. That makes it brand name awesome. Also Canada, for the most part, speaks English. I would not trade my days speaking English for days speaking any other language.
Optimistic. The future is shifting ChatGPT and other AI is on board and on the team of providing checks and balances for a better future. AI can shape and mold and refine a person's body of knowledge. A lot of what appears to be the future are mental constructs built from absolutist thinking. The future will have its good and bad moments but the good moments make you strong while the bad moments teach and force you to grow.
Jung called it individuation and actualization. On an individual level, a person's crises help them to be the top class person who they are ultimately meant to be. On an actualization level, there is a divine order, a divine schedule and the world is moving towards it and part of it includes the stumbling blocks along the way that are designed to teach.
Jung also said that a person should not doubt their ability to handle things but to believe like the Stoics that a person will meet whatever future with the same strength and resources they have in handling the present moment.
Ha ha, the present doesn't morph into the future so much as the future morphs into the present.

This morning, I got Downton Abbey, Season 3, episode 9. There is a visit to a Scottish castle. The train doors read 333. So I knew getting this was a good move.
I woke up this morning, looked at the clock and it said, 4:44! Price, $3. Not a big expense.
The story of Metro Awakening in a nutshell is,
Years after a nuclear war, survivors in Russia are living in a vast underground civilization that had been premade from underground subway tunnels. There are also all kinds of mutant entities living there as well.
A doctor named Serdar must go deep into the mines to rescue and bring medicine for his wife Yana who had been abducted and pulled deep into the mines.
The hero's arc that Joseph Campbell wrote about emerges. Through the course of the journey, Serdar discovers who he is without any of the fear or worries and he eventually becomes something larger than life.
Daedalus VR. $3. Well worth it. Just incredible. Same developer as Red Matter.

Since I'm getting a Gst rebate tomorrow, I got Winter World in Little Cities VR for $8. Is it ever good! I've always always wanted something like this. I got Little Cities VR for free. I thought of purchasing it. I also got Hubris VR for free. I thought of purchasing it. I don't remember the chain of events from that but anyways, the gods snet these apps to me for free. Good karma. I love it immensely.
I want to say that in my mind, I am rich even though I'm staying downtown in the inner city in a rooming house. The Beatles said, Baby you're a rich man too.
Ill see you a nice house in the 80s and I'll raise you HDTVs and tablets and VR goggles. A nice house in the 80s, that lifestyle of a past era, had no VR goggles. So in that way, I am kinda rich. Virtually rich. In Big Screen VR, I have quite a few private movie theatres. Even if I lived in a rich house in Vancouver, I doubt it would have been at the level of having its own movie theatre rich house. In virtual reality, that is possible.
Quite a few if not all of my neighbours have a big screen HDTV too!

I got Life of Pi. $6. On sale.
I splurged. I know. This movie hits me hard. It is a favorite. The movie is about the spirit of adventure and of perseverance. The night scene with the candles floating on the river ceremony is worth the price alone. Off the scale spectacular.
Linear time is not Universal throughout the universe.
Einstein said that gravity affects space time.
On a heavier planet like Jupiter, while a hundred years passed for a person on Earth, only 98.7 years passed for a person on Jupiter. On lighter planets like Pulto, 107 years passed! This is just an example. Not actual mathematics.
A GPS Satellite because it's in space with less gravity, there is about 38 microseconds of a second difference every day. The AI does a time correction. Otherwise in three hundred days, that's one second. In ten years, that's ten seconds. In one year, that's a second. Imagine a cell phone that takes 10 seconds each time before the message reaches the other person? Again, not exact mathematics. It gives a general idea.

I got Scared by Squares on sale, $7 from $11.
This is a desert island app. If Daedalus VR had a sibling, this would be it.
When I played the free trial, I got some genuine, massive, over the top, arthouse, mega concrete architecture, Frank Lloyd Wright, UBC Museum of anthropology arthouse vibes.
The gods of pecuniary expense will excuse me for this one.
I got Exit 8 for $8.
Based on the movie. I don't think I'll do well. How well could I spot the anomaly? That there is a movie connected with this. $8 isn't the end of the World. This past week, I paid $8 in tips at restaurants alone.
At this rate, I will never be able to save up for a five star hotel experience. A holiday in my own town. I'd like to say at the Empress Hotel for the Downton Abbey era experience.
I have eaten at the Empress Hotel restaurant. I like the Casear salad.

Today, I swept the grounds of the Courthouse as usual.
There were a couple of upsetting incidents. There was a couple of meth heads hanging about outside the Courthouse. At one point, one guy was bent over, his pants hiked down to where his underwear was exposed. He was wearing black underwear. Grim, offsetting. I mean there were lots of cars driving in front of the Courthouse. At one point a Police car even drove past.
That's more Westen delinquency. You don't see things like that in Singapore. It's more orderly over in Asia.
Then I was pulling weeds from a drive way at another location. A car was going into the driveway. I loved aside. The driver said, "You can't be here. You can't do that right now!"
I yelled back, "Well obviously not right this second. I mean, Obviously!"
Some people talk to you like they got the regulation book right in front of the and they are reading from it when it's just more guesses based on some arbitrary whim. People work in patterns. Some people when they go out, they can't spend even one day without yelling at someone, saying some weird hyper crackpot snarky sh*t. Some people are restless like that. Cuaght up in the momentum of their own perpetual restless psychodrama.
I am not so reductive and myopic in my thinking to think that the forces of life only throws delinquency at me in return for diligence. For every delinquent I encountered, there were easily a hundred people who were not.

On Cities VR, I always build a Police station next to the airport and to include a few PDs in town. Also, building a donut shop next to any Police station massively adds points for stars. A certain amount of points equals one star. There are up to three stars. Win enough points for three stars to unlock all unlockables.
Also, build any firestation next to any water tower, uh, duh.
Cities VR doesn't have a night mode. Boo! But is otherwise quite user friendly. I got it no problem.
Little Cities is more confusing. Before one lays down any building, they have to build the framework ancillary infrastructure first. It gets into details like electricity lines, telephone cell tower lines, sewage lines. Build roads but they must connect in a certain way or its a no go. And that's before the player gets to place down a single house which is the fun part. Confusing or what?
Smurfs Village required certain minimum infrsstrure that can be placed anywhere.
Little Cities is more regimented and circumscribed to the point of draconian. But it has a night time level. Seeing all the windows in the houses light up at night either up close or at a distance is funky. Little Cities VR allows a person to zoom in even closer on their city.
I got Little Cities on sale for $11, found it too confusing, on a budget, and asked for and received a refund. Now the price is $27 which is way pricey for me.
Even then I have doubts that I could ever get the basic set up of how to place roads, and corollary infrastructure grid lines that I am uncertain about this app, at all.

Today I got some morel mushrooms which are some of the most expensive in the world. I cooked a stir fry with them. Dried morels, about $11 a bag, good for a few meals which was more or less affordable even on my budget. They taste really good. And have a healthy effect on the body. I feel better already.
Europe is a place I'd like to visit, at least in VR.
Europe was named after Europa who was eventually the bride of Zeus.
Zeus as a bull, led Europa from Lebanon to Crete. He turned back into a man and married Europa. The mainland of which Crete was connected to was given the name of Europa.
On Crete is the Phaistos disc. This goes back to 1700 BC while the Rosetta Stone goes s back to 200 BC. The Phaistos disc is the progenitor of the Greek, Roman and later English and Cyrillic alphabets!

A higher level of consciousness.
It is traditionally modeled that consciousness exists inside of the body. And that things outside of the body exist outside of consciousness. These are completely wrong.
The body exists inside of consciousness and things outside of the body also exist inside consciousness which is the true definition of consciousness. The objective definition of consciousness whereas the traditional modelling is the widely accepted subjective view of consciousness.
There is the thinker. And there is the observer.
Cognition and meta-cognition.
I got The Kingsman 2021, $5 on sale from $23. I saw the movie at least once. I really liked it. Especially when Rasputin was sword fighting. Historically he was one of the best swordfighters in Russia. He was well known for that......
This is an excusable expense, despite my budget.

Greeat actor Sam Neill of Jurassic Park and also Peaky Blinders died. I think he'll make it to heaven. He was great as Doctor Alan Grant in Jurassic Park.
I'm mulling over getting The Amusement.
The graphics are top scale and the puzzles seem to be set to that sweet spot of difficulty. The player takes on the role of a female protagonist with girlie hands but the hands are wearing gloves so there's that. Anyways, she is in an Amusement Park in Germany in the 1920s. Her uncles wife made him sign up for the war. Fighting for the side that lost. What a roast. He supposedly died in that war.
Which is the twist ending right there. He is still alive in the abandoned amusement park.
It costs $30 and I have been mulling this over for a few days. I even paid $12 in advance on my credit card for this and I held off on other purchases ewualking about $13. So that's kind of a sublimated $25 savings.
The graphics. The Art design. And the use of a yo-yo. In the Philippines, the yo-yo was used as a weapon.
Due to the expense, I am still mulling this over. Should I get it?
I saw a few signs that I should get this. A co-worker who looks German but lots of people looked like a lot of different nationalities, anyways he said hello to me when I was sweeping the grounds of the Courthouse. That could be a sign.
Dream, Wednesday, July 15th, 2026
Last night's dream included me being in an almost empty Irish pub and a lady was sitting at the bar wearing a white dress, long dark hair. I passed her and said, "Extraneous overoieced restaurant."
Then I was at a restaurant like Ricky's or Denny's. Brown leather chaired booths. Two ladies were there. I was just getting my meal or order. The two ladies had eaten their meals, their plates almost but not completely cleared. They were getting up to leave. I said to one of them, "You're leaving?!"
Those two women could have been Heather and Maria but in a young firm so I didnt recognize them. They were in a form that was younger than they were when I first met them. Them leaving means they died on the Earth phase of life and left me while I am still in this stage. Me getting ready to eat my meal means that I have more yewrs left to go.
They not completely finishing their meal meant that the story between me and them isn't finished. Ghosts and the dreamworld uses symbols to communicate in a way where not just one isolated thing is the metaphor or symbolic communication but that every single thing in the room is a part of that.
In this dimension, it's all about the journey because it is all journey. Destination in this dimension is tied to impermance. This dimension, 100% journey. 0% destination.
In the afterlife dimension, it is all destination since under that better set of physics, a person can instantly teleport. The afterlife dimension, 100% destination. 0% journey.

This is a cosmic coincidence related to my dream.
The movie isn't usually on sale. The chances were one in a thousand that it would have been on sale. And the chances were somewhat slim that I'd even find it on sale. What were the chances I would have clicked on to it?
In the movie, is the actress Viola Davis. I first knew of her as Amanda Waller in the DC Universe movies. When I first saw her in this movie, I didn't recognize her because she was younger in this movie when I first seen her alrewdy then as Amanda Waller.j
This is just as with my previous girlfriends in the dream. Since the movie is about ghosts, this makes sense!

Like Jessie the female hobbit said of Chalize Theron on the movie The Odyssey appearing in the movie "in all botox and rags."
Republicans need him to appear live like Weekend at Bernie's in case a Democrat Senator replaces him during the Midterms.
There were well known stories that dead people were used to fraudulently enroll in voter lists. And they call this a democracy. Anyways, followed to its furthest, that means dead people are pl being used to vote for dead Senators? Night of the Living Dead, or what?

I got Season 2, episode 9 of Miami Vice, Episode called, Bushido. $3. Plus tax. $3.35.
This, along with Beau is Afraid, is a matched set with the Chief Castillo perched against the ceiling ninja style and the Beau bathtub scene with the man crouching in the ceiling above Beau as he is taking a bath. Hilarious.
Speaking of matched sets, since I already have Exit 8, I haven't gotten yet, am mulling over, but probably will get Backrooms on sale for $5. A movie has been made from it. And from the premise it presents, getting the app would be a souvenir of the movie and seeing the movie would be a good souvenir of the app experience. The reviews are glowing.
I think it's more of a slow burn. No jumpscares and very liminal like Daedalus VR.
To save you the suspense, I bought the app Backroom VR off of the meta store about 1 minute after writing the above. I can't wait to see the movie.
Did I mention I also got Exit 8? I have to see the movie of that too.
